for the past several days when I attempt to download a file, the page attempts to load, gets about halfway and stops. I have read the possible solutions and tried firefox, with nos success. Everything was fine several days ago, but I can't download a thing. Any other solutions that i might try.

there is a windows media player "CTRLR" which I also cannot delete inside the winwood file. says the same thing, corrupt/cannot delete.

I have decided to uninstall/reinstall rc4. On uninstalling i was left with the file rc4. Contained in the file was a folder "winwood" and a ms dos batch file, makerwys. I tried to delete the winwood folder and I got the message the file was corrupted or unreadable. I then tried to reinstall and the installtion stopped because of this file. Is there a way to delete this file as it won't let me at this point. Thanks.

i have recently reinstalled rc4, and now in the text box the only information i have is the next waypoint. i have no information for example to choose a different altitude, request a runway, or emergencies etc. any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

i'm just getting back up after hurricane gustav, but still having the problem. i've tried several flightplans, the sim still locks up. I use fsbuild, radar contact, after downloading from flightaware. when i click on load to import the flightplan in fs9 is when the lockup occurs. i don't use the fs9 flight planner at all except to import the plan.

Within the last week fs9 is freezing up when i load a flightplan using the following. i use flightaware to obtain the f/p, next i use fsbuild, and radar contact to generate the plan. in fs9, i load the plan in that format and load into the fms lately for the e-170/190. now when i click okay in fs9 to exit the flightplan generator the sim freezes up and i have to use ctrl-alt-delete to escape. however, when i generate a f/p strictly using fs9 it loads fine. any thoughts would be appreciated.

When being told to change frequencies, there is a delay if another airplane is being talked to on the same channel which leads to "U#####124, I say again, contact ####center on ####". Are there plans to eliminate this where you can immediately leave that channel and go to the channel you are told to go to without irking the controller?Great Product!!!

I currently use the freeware portion of routefinder, my question is, if I pay for the full version can i convert the plans into fs9 and not have to hear atc giving corrections,i.e., headings, altitudes, etc. and strictly follow the flightplan as given, using a/c I have purchased? I now only use flight following and don't file an ifr plan as they don't agree.

I have done a complete fresh reinstall of fs9, and its been along time, but how do I set and keep the current date and time in fs9 in the selection menu? Everytime I start fs9, February 2003 10:15am is the default month/year/time. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where to get the fix for the four mountains in fs9, as for example the mountain around memphis? Thanks

i recently have had to uninstall fs9 and did a reinstall. a problem i have found is that the sid/star function in the fmc is not working. tried to load ksea and several other airports, not in database. the rest of the airplane is working fine, do i have to reinstall the 737? i have downloaded latest sid/star data for the pmdg 737 with same result.

On or about 12-21-04, the first day of winter, my fs9 refused to load. first time that has ever happened. When loading, the ctd would occur while loading terrain, somewhere in the 50 to 60 percent loading range.This remained for two weeks, in which i unistalled and reinstalled fs9 twice, same result.I followed the post of babewatcher 12-27-04, and from that I deleted usa roads. Guess what, fs9 is working perfectly, as it did before 12-21-04. This worked for me and i will post a message with folks of usa roads to see what they say. Some kind of conflict somewhere which may or may not have something to do with the winter textures?
