  1. I get this line too, almost like it's aligned with the horizon, it always spoils a good mountain range and I was starting to wonder if it's my system - glad i'm not the only one
  2. I noticed that the Market Place was greyed out for me the other day, turns out i just needed to sign out of Microsoft and back in again (top right of Welcome screen) and then all was well again. Apparently sometimes you lose connection to the server. This might also solve the missing aircraft (possibly tied to a sign in) so worth giving it a try..? I believe this problem also causes the sim not to record achievements as it was not saving my best scores on the Courchevel challenge either, which i've put down to loss of server connection.
  3. Istanbul Airport (LTFM)... touted to become the biggest aiport in the world one day.. been operational for 18 months now but it's totally non-existent in the sim. The now decomissioned Ataturk is there though as the main airport still.
  4. Hi Andreas, may i ask how you figured it out? I don't like the inverted mouse either but can't fathom how to change it! Cheers
  5. Hi A32xx - yes I installed as administrator. I uninstalled and re-installed just to be sure (you never know) and the same thing has happened - no FS9 folder within the Microsoft folder in AppData/Roaming and thus no .cfg file and program won't run. :-(
  6. Thanks however i do have the "show hidden files" box checked. I can see the correct path but the folder isn't there. The sim won't even load up Cheers
  7. Hi gents As the title says really... I just had to re-install FS9 on a fresh windows 7 (64bit) install, but when I go to load the icon the sim won't load. After doing a search for the fs9.cfg file it appears that there is no C:\Users/MYNAME/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FS9 folder (and i have definitely checked the correct path and YES i have folder options in control panel set to show hidden files and folders..) I am at a complete loss as to what has happened here. The install went smoothly without hiccup but i cannot load the sim and fear that it is related to there not being a .cfg file in existence! Has anyone got any ideas as to what could have gone wrong? Or even better how to fix it? I am somewhat of an FS9 'veteran' and have never seen this before. I have searched google to no avail and am desperately hoping that somebody points out the obvious and it's just me being a complete dumbass (entirely possible), as at the moment i have no idea. I look forward to hearing back with any suggestions! Thanks for looking. Gaz.
  8. Hi jasoni had this problem too when i first bought my CH pedals, i think i had to disable the toe brakes in order to stop the tendency to drift, as that was causing the interference i think...Make sure you calibrate the pedals using CH control manager, that should help too.Are you using any other CH products?? i also believe they can interfere if you have other axis set for the same movement if that makes any sense!!Gaz.
  9. Thanks for your insight mike, i've just spent most of the day flying the A319 VC model and its an absolute delight! I'm not normally a huge fan of VC but i've been forced to try it - and i'm definately liking this one!! :( Happy flying matey! :-beerchug
  10. Hi mike, yeah the wing views come with the pack, you can choose from VC or wngview models, the only thing i can imagine thats wrong now is that i've got a corrupted .mdl file or something, but its only on the a319 and a320 - every other aircraft in both the airbus and boeing packs are fine and dandy!!Still no reply from overland... i really hate this sort of thing as i only really bought the airbus pack for the a319 and a320!! bloody typical!!i'm beginning to think i've just thrown my money down the drain..:-roll
  11. The screenshot was taken on my mobile phone, i'm using my parents PC to post these messages as mine isn't connected to internet at the mo'I have tried contacting overland - still waiting for a reply, also tried re-installing, that didn't solve the problem. This only occurs on the wingview, the spoilers look fine from spot view and tower etc, i'm just completely perplexed by it - i love my wingviews and this is a real frustration!!!Thanks for the input though guys!Gaz.
  12. here's a screenshot...I haven't got a clue what's causing this! Please help this is really bugging me!
  13. Hi guys,i recently bought the Overland Airbus package for FS2004 and i have noticed that one panel of the speedbrakes on the Airbus models (A319/A320/A321) stays down when deployed, and this occurs on the starboard wing only. I cannot find anything to explain this and i have searched the FS community forums but i have not found anybody with a similar problem!! ??Can anybody be kind enough to suggest what may be wrong or does anyone know of this issue and maybe if there is a fix??Any help much appreciated!!Cheers,Gaz.
  14. I was thinking the same thing! I keep checking like every 5 mins in case it appears! I can't wait to download it...
  15. Hey everyone, i'm having the most annoying FS experience ever! Everytime i come in to land (any aircraft, any airport) when i get within say 1 mile to half a mile out my frames drop drastically from 25+ to below 6 fps!!!! This happens everytime i land and obviously ruins the whole experience! it is only noticable out of the forward view, i.e when i look out over the wings or left/right etc it goes back to normal, so it is only happenning with the runway in view. This will happen with all sliders back to minimum so it can't be due to demanding scenery like autogen and airport buildings etc etc. I have no idea what could be causing this and i have tried resized runway textures but to no avail. My PC is no slouch either: P4 3.0 with hyper threading, 512RAM, and 128MB Radeon 9800 Can anybody shed some light on this matter? At the moment i just cannot land anywhere because of this very major problem. And as i cannot land, i'm sure you can all appreciate that i cannot therefore take off!!! :-violin Waiting anxiously for a reply....Cheers, Gareth.
