Too many VOR's on Flight Plan
Bring up the flight plan (list of waypoints).Click on the big button at the lower right. This will higlight the first waypoint.Click on the right arrows to move down the list of waypoints. As you reach the bottom, the list will begin to scroll up.Use the left arrows to scroll back up.Took me a while to figure this out, too... ;)

Propeller RPM Adjustment
One of the (many) things I like about the great L-049A Constellation from FSDZigns is the panel icon for adjusting the propeller RPM. I like it much better than using the keyboard (CTRL-F2, CTRL-F3). Unfortunately, it seems to be part of a set of icons, which makes it difficult to use with other aircraft panels. Does anyone know of a standalone icon/gauge combination which can be added to a panel to increase and decrease propeller RPM in a similar manner? I've searched but can't find one. Thanks.

Got my PPL check-ride and oral this upcoming week
Relax. If you hadn't already passed ground school and flown solo, you would not be ready for the check ride. It will go well, if you just adopt the attitude that it will do so. I'm speaking from personal experience: got my PPL in 1975, commercial pilot license(which of course includes instrument rating) in 1977, followed by training as a flight instructor to the point where I was able to fly complex aircraft solo from the right seat before I had to quit further training because of business pressures. Enjoy it and just remember the old (but really true) saying: you're getting your license to learn. Good luck, and let us all know when you successfully complete the check ride. :-cool

No VC Convair Proliners
Can anyone tell me if there are aircraft models (xx.MDL files) for the CalClassic Convair propliners (CV-240/340/440)? I found one for the Douglas DC-6B in a panel created by Ken Mitchell and would like to eliminate the VC on the Convairs as well. Call me strange if you wish, but I like to look backwards in flight to see the engines and wings (as well as any traffic back there). Thanks.

Aviation Axioms.....
I learnd this gem from the chief pilot at the FBO where I earned my commercial ticket & instrument rating back in 1977, who was a retired Air Force colonel. (He also turned me inside out during 11 wonderful hours of aerobatics training in his Bellanca Decathlon which was painted in the Thunderbirds scheme.)"The three most useless things in aviation are:A. The runway behind you.B. The altitude above you.C. The fuel you didn't put aboard."Happy sim-flying, all! :(

FS9 GPS 500 MSG Button
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to stop the MSG button on the default FS9 Garmin GPS 500 from blinking almost constantly? The only message it ever gives is either you are already in, or about to be in, "airspace". As aircraft operating under instrument flight rules (IFR) are almost always in controlled airspace, I find this "feature" to be useless and annoying. I certainly would appreciate having a way to turn it off.
