  1. Jim Robinson's post in Help! Can't install new purchase of C152 II was marked as the answer
I'd try the Flight1 registry repair tool, run it, navigate to your FSX SE installation and show it where fsx.exe is located. It should make a dummy FSX MS reg key pointing to your FSX SE installation. That should bluff the Carenado installer into installing in FSX SE.
  2. Jim Robinson's post in Razbam Metroliner for P3D only $10 was marked as the answer
If you just pointed the installer to the V3 folder there's no way the installer could know about the v3 dll.xml (because it was made before v3 was released). One of the things that won't work without a proper dll.xml entry is the external lights. If you chose the P3D v2.x installer it probably tried to put the dll.xml entry into the v2.5 dll.xml despite redirecting the actual files to v3. This is a perfect opportunity to try out the new v3 addon content management system, try this:

-Copy the line of code below in it's entirety
    Prepar3D.exe "-Configure: File=DLL, Operation=Add, FileLocation=Roaming, Title=RAZBAM Metroliner System Control, Path=Addon Modules\MM3SM.dll, DLLStartName=module_init, DLLStopName=module_deinit" -Open your Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 root folder in windows explorer (the folder where Prepar3D.exe is located)

-with no files selected, right click somewhere in the white space while holding the shift key down, choose 'Open command window here'

-right click the command window and select 'paste', press the enter key

That should do it, see if the Metro's lights work now.

EDIT: Actually skip the above, it doesn't work and it will screw up everything else in your dll.xml too. What you need in your dll.xml is this:
      <Launch.Addon>     <Name>RAZBAM Metroliner System Control</Name>     <Disabled>False</Disabled>     <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>     <Path>Addon Modules\MM3SM.dll</Path>     <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>     <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>   </Launch.Addon> Jim
  3. Jim Robinson's post in EH101 Panel config was marked as the answer
That's what I thought too but actually the default EH101 doesn't have 'em either:
    // EH101 [Window Titles] Window02=GPS Window03=Minipanel //-------------------------------------------------------- [Window02] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=456,378 position=8 visible=0 ident=GPS_PANEL window_size=0.5 gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500,  0,0 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Window03] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=456,378 position=7 visible=1 ident=MINIPANEL window_size=0.4,0.4 alpha_blend=0.7 gauge00=EH101!EH101_MFD,0,0,456,378, PFD [Vcockpit01] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=1024,1024 visible=1 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$EH101_01 gauge00=EH101!EH101_MFD,6,7,280,230, PFD gauge01=EH101!EH101_MFD,293,7,280,230, MFD gauge02=EH101!EH101_EICAS,6,243,350,256, LEFT gauge03=EH101!EH101_EICAS,6,507,350,256, RIGHT gauge04=EH101!EH101_DEFIG,361,243,210,115 gauge05=EH101_map!radio,588,335,190,240     gauge06=EH101_map!radio,805,335,190,240 gauge07=eh101_map!eh101_map,579,7,425,320 (There's your backup disguised as an example :smile: )

EDIT: I think if you want the minipanel to come up with shift+4 you have to change ident=MINIPANEL to something else, any random number between 10000 and 19999 will work ie ident=12345
  4. Jim Robinson's post in GTN PC Trainer 2.00.3 for Flight1 GTN 750 was marked as the answer
You can now download GTNPCTrainerLite_2003.exe directly from the Flight1 GTN page, find the link near the bottom:

Try cycling FTX Central, it could be that something has updated your autogendescriptions.spb and you have some missing descriptions as a result. Also make sure you have the latest Orbxlibs installed before you do that as they will contain the latest aurogendescriptions.

  6. Jim Robinson's post in How to calculate counter-radials was marked as the answer
Reciprocals? I add 200 and subtract 20 - or if that gives me a number greater than 360 I subtract 200 and add 20. Alternately look at your directional gyro while on course and read the number at the bottom of the dial.

It's been a while since I've used SB9, but I think if you hit the "Reverse" button in that first screenshot it should make the waves appear on the opposite side of the line.

  8. Jim Robinson's post in Why is ENB rewriting itself to FSX? was marked as the answer
Did you delete the d3d9.dll too or just the enbseries.ini? If you still have the d3d9.dll in the root folder it will create a new enbseries.ini on it's own every time you run the sim.
