OOM with Vista Ultimate 64-bit (when loading a/c 32-bit textures)
Thanks for your reactions. Yes I do have the LAA flag activated. I decided to do a complete OS reinstall. It looks promising, I did not had a OOM sofar. Just a thought; the OOMs started to appear a few weeks ago, after I had switched from an E6600 to a E8400. I know that a complete OS reinstall is not required for just a new processor but I can't explain why I would suffer a OOM in a 64bit enviroment. I hope the issue won't return.

OOM with Vista Ultimate 64-bit (when loading a/c 32-bit textures)
Hi there,I recently installed Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I have done so based upon findings in this forum about suffering OOM. It has been a month now and I can say that it has worked out quiet well. I don't have to worry about pressing Alt+Enter and switchto the windowed mode if I choose to. Or get a blue screen after 2 hours across the atlantic. Until now. I transferred a large portion of data (NL2000v3) from my Flight Simulator partition to another parition on the same harddrive. After that FS9 wouldn't start properly and I even got a OOM message. I decided to format the partition and do a complete re-install of FS9. It seems to work well now, but I discovered an issue that I hadn't come across before; during the re-install I decided to take the 32-bit textures of complex add-on aircraft (PMDG 747-400 and SSTSIM Concorde). Once I select any of these aircraft in the start-up menu of FS, I get an OOM message. The funny thing is that if I start her on any of those aircraft installed with DTX3 textures, she runs just fine. I use Nhancer, but no matter what selection I make (either AA&AF or none of it at all) the problem comes back. Hope someone can help.Stephan W.v.E.My system is:Asus P5NE-SLi Intel E8400 E0 @ 3.6 Ghz2x2GB OCZ Reaper 10668800GT Nvidia 182.50 driversNhancer 2.5.1 installed WD Raptor 74GB with O/S Vista Ultimate 64-bitMaxtor 250GB with 4 partitions
