I have the FSX version and cannot get the pilot window to close. Shift-W is not closing it. Any help would be appreciated !!!!

OK, looked through here and didn't see anyhting like this so hopefully this is new. All of a sudden my MS2004 graphics started with this jerky motion when in Vittual cockpit mod. Up, down or side to side will stop, hesitate and then continue. The entire spectrum does the same, all visuals and the flight mod as well. I thought, maybe a virus, but no, ran everything and no virus.I thought before I do anything really unwise, I woulf ask here and get advise or info on what to do or try. I can't be the only one that has encountered this before. Any and all info will be appreciated. Thanks, Swede

Dan, I hope I fixed the signature, Sorry! Anyway.....Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy......I was able to calibrate the throttle down to, Full back to 1% and full up 99%. I'll take it compared to what I was dealing with before. Thanks for all the advise and ideas, really appreciated it..............

Thanks Guys, I pulled a redownload from Saitek but haven't brought up the Sims yet. As far as checking the Calibration over in the "Settings" area, when I do this the throw on the throttle shows it is working full up, full back. What I get with the A/C is something totally different. With the throttle full back, good idle. Just nudge the throttle forward any little bit and it goes to 25%. The only way to get idle is to use a button set for "Engine Idle". Same as I said for full throttle, all the way forward, 75% only. I get 100% using a button to go to "Full Throttle". This really sucks. The unit worked perfectly for about 3 months and now this............

No I haven't. The unit did not come with a CD so I assume that it is a "Plug and Play". Tell me more......

Can anyone address this problem? My throttle started acting up after only 3 months. It would only reduce to 25% when pulled back and would only go to 75% when at full throttle. Saitek Rep suggested downloading new drivers. No joy, still same problem. Finally they agreed to take a look at it. I sent it to Cal. to their U.S. offices. 6 weeks!, later I get it back with the claim that it is working fine. Well, long story short, the same problem still exsists. The only way to cut the throttle is to use a button on the throttle to reduce to 0%, and another button to go to full power after the throttle is pushed to full which is only 75%. What is going on? When I check, the settings it shows that the throttle movement is going through its full range, forward and back. I don't mind the cost of this unit but to spend this amount and have it still not work after waiting 6 weeks is unacceptable! Any info or advise will be greatly appreciated! Swede :(

I have pulled some repaints off of the library to use with my ** B-17 and P-51 and P-47. I have followed the directions as they are written, I believe but I must be missing something. For the '51, the repaint comes up in the A/C file as "P-51D Surplus" and shows the two models that were in the Repaint file. When I bring the A/C up all I get is an unmarked and unpainted A/C. although, the color files are appearing in the "A/C's files. Also, for the B-17, tha same problem but the different A/C repaint doesn't even come up in the A/C model available when the Sim is brought up. Is there a "Clear, basic" tutorial for the Computer Repaint Challenged? It would seem that the download would be pretty easy from the "Read Me" file, yet this does not seem to be the case.
