  1. What's wrong with the i7-3930k Sandy Bridge?
  2. The guide at the start of this topic is gone. I suppose when AVSIM got hacked, it got erased. Is there anyone who has a copy of the instructions that could re-post it? I'd hate to request the original poster to re-write it.Cody
  3. That was it. There were only about 10 files in there and I know there should have been MUCH more than that. I ran the installer again and clicked 'Repair'. Unfortunately, that didn't fix it. It didn't replace the missing textures, nor did it edit the .cfg to include the fdx selection. I ran it again this time to uninstall and then reinstalled. That worked. Thanks.Cody
  4. It's the FedEx repaint directly from PMDG's website.Cody
  5. No, I'm running XP so I can only run DX 9.0c. The card I have installed is an EVGA 8800 GTS 640 MB. I have an intel core duo E6850 @ 3.00 GHz with 3GB of RAM. The drivers running the 8800 are from EVGA's website and it is their latest. This is F9 by the way, I don't have F10.Cody
  6. I know this shouldn't be...The wings and the tail fins are transparent...something ain't right here. I haven't modified anything to any of PMDG's folders other than add textures using their self-installers.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/186696.jpgAny ideas?Cody

  8. http://www.blueprintsimulations.com/BluePrint_KMSP.htmKMSP is finally being developed. I own two of Blueprint's airports, Louisville (KSDF) and Dulles (KIAD) for FS9. Their designs are fantastic and are VERY frame-rate friendly (Using an NVIDIA 8800 GTS). No official word on a release date but KSDF came out in a relatively short time after they announced it (about 6 months I think). The site says it'll be available for both FS9 and FSX.
  9. I had the same problem in the 747. The thing would take a sudden nose dive when it reached the TOD (equating to screaming passengers to those of us running FSPassengers). Fortunately, a real pilot who flew the 747 for thousands of hours gave me this tip (this works in the 747 and I'm sure it's modeled in the 737): On your FMC, while in cruise, hit your VNAV button and go to the thrid page, or ECON DES page. You should see a line that says - ECON SPD. Change that value to .800/250 and execute. Your VSI will max out at around -2400; your descent profile will be much smoother and not force you to deploy the speedbrakes.
  10. Was it a programming restriction to not have the international ground crews on landing? Also, I run a post-production suite in my home and I was wondering if it's possible for me to create my own sound sets for the pilot (putting my own voice in place of John's and another person in place of Steve's).Cody
  11. Hey Bryan. One thing I've noticed with my version of FS2Crew is that I get the American ground crew no matter where I go. I usually fly from Boston to either Heathrow or Gatwick; or Los Angeles to Sydney, and I'm always getting the American ground crews on landing (Hi Captain, the chocks are in now, any defects with the plane?). I'm running the most recent version of FS2Crew for the PMDG 747 and I've installed the most recent update. Also, I rarely get any special events outside of needing blankets or the 'tape' machine being broken. I've never gotten a late passenger or anything else, though I did get a bird strike once out of Midway and I've flown over 50 flights since installing FS2Crew.Is there a config file I need to adjust?CodyDell Dimension 8400, Intel 4 3.2GHz, ATI X1600 Pro 512MB PCIe, 3GB RAM, FSPassengers (configed properly to not interfere with FS2Crew), Active Sky 6.5, FSUIPC & WideFS, FS Real Time, Squawk Box 3, CH Flight Sim Yoke
