  1. I downsized (or upsized depending on your point of view) to a Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case. I love this case. It has clean lines great airflow and a lower footprint if it is setting on your desk. It fits 2 GTX 1080 ti cards, a big H115i corsair cpu radiator cooler and a Corsair HX1200i PS no problem at all.
  2. Never mind about the pop up screens. Turns out FS Crew commented out windows 11 & 12 in the panel config. Not sure why? //window11=Zoomed Right Inboard DU //window12=Zoomed Right Outboard DU
  3. While I am on the subject of these F/O screens. Can you tell me if they enlarge when you click on them? My two don't. The mouse changes to a "+" sign but nothing happens. All the other screens expand ok though.
  4. You could be right. I'll check it out. Thanks Kevin.
  5. Hi all, I am having an issue with the 747-400 v3. My issue is that the nav data on the F/O screen keeps vanishing leaving a blank screen. It is there at the start of the flight but disappears during the flight. I have had this a few times now and I am not sure what may be causing it. I have attached a bmp image to show the issue. Any help would be most appreciated. https://ibb.co/hwEq1H
  6. Hello, A quick question. Was the LCF Dreamlifter model done for this new 747.
  7. Yep. Awesome isn't it? Just tried it in the toaster works perfectly, I was getting sick of trying to jam the whole loaf in there.
  8. Yeah Kyle, very good flight. I am looking forward to more. Thank you.
  9. Hi all, I just wanted to comment on the fantastic job the PMDG team have done on the new QOTSv2. I use FSX and have just flown from Bangkok to Alice Springs. I used sim-brief for the flight plan and weather brief; all loaded into the plane seamlessly. I used an on-line fuel planner which got the fuel load just right. This is the first time I have flown a complete flight without a freeze or stutter or OOM issues. I reinstalled FSX about a week ago and left every add-on off except for AS16 which I use for the 747's weather radar. I have now come to the conclusion that all of the scenery addons I was using were contributing to the stutters, freezes and OOM problems I was having. So, after having decided I would rather fly the beautiful plane PMDG gave us than look at all of the flash scenery, I have to say, my flying is a lot more enjoyable. Well done team.
  10. Yeah, definitely the 747 classic models would be awesome.
  11. Hi Jim, That CTD guide is very well done, some excellent advice in there. I used the stock config that was created on launching. I deleted that config and the two suggested dll files. I renamed the scenery config file but then fsx would not start so I had to rename it back again. On crashing and restarting windows I could not find anything in the event viewer or "AppCrashView" that related to FSX crashing. I even noted the time of the crash down so it would be easy to find but no luck. I am going to uninstall it and try again. I am also reinstalling this onto a clean install of the operating system (I formatted the drive yesterday). regards Tom
  12. Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me? because I have run into an issue I cannot fix. I have just reinstalled FSX SE back onto my win 7 64 bit machine. It is stock standard with no tweaks to the config. When I go to the setting screen and after adjusting the items I need to adjust I click on the "OK" button and then the game freezes causing a shut down and restart. It does not matter which of the tab screens (display, aircraft, scenery, weather and traffic) I am on it happens on all of them. If anyone has any idea I would be greatful for your advice on how to fix this. Thank you. Oh,I am also getting script errors when I come into the home screen on startup. regards Tom machine specs are: ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition X79 E-ATX Quad Channel LGA2011 Motherboard Intel Ivy Bridge-E Core i7 4960X 3.6Ghz 15MB LGA2011 Mushkin Redline Ridgeback 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3-1866 CL9 (994105) ASUS RAIDR Express 240GB PCIe SSD Western Digital Caviar Black WD2003FZEX 2TB 64MB Cache SATA3 Western Digital Caviar Green WD20EARX 2TB 64MB Cache SATA3 Asus GeForce GTX780 Ti 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E3.0 x 2 Corsair Hydro Series H90 140mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler SilverStone Strider Gold ST1000-G 1000W Modular PSU 80Plus Gold Dell U2711 27" 2560x1440 UltraSharp IPS Monitor ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27” 165Hz ISP 2560X1440, nVidia G-Sync LED Monitor ASUS 12x Blu-ray Writer Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCIe Fatal1ty Pro Series Altec Lansing THX MX5021 speakers with sub woofer 2.1 Cooler Master Haf X full tower case
