  1. That indeed was a sad day. Cannot believe it`s been 10 years.
  2. I used to fly online using VATSIM but that was a few years back. If I remember correctly, I could see other planes on my map but not on the monitor. ATC worked though and I could communicate with them. Used to fly on line alot with the original FLY! They had there own server and would fly with Gust and a few others almost every night. Those were fun times!Qdog

Hi, welcome back. I never left. However, I now have a system that runs FlyII with no problems. I love it.....again. As for the 737 and 757 I don`t think they are available. Maybe someone that has them can make copies and lend them?????Qdog

Well, I have some ROTW downloads and get the error but I don`t have to restart my comp. It starts right up. Have you tried a fresh install without the rotw disk?
  5. Thanks Randall and thanks for the files!!

I too, get a error message when I exit. Nothing is lost or other programs are not affected thoughQ
  7. I have downloaded a large number of files from AVSIM and several are corrupt. Does anyone have the following files on their computer and if so would you PM me and send them to me please? The files are:italy_2004_Idcex.1italy_2004_Idcex.2etnapod.chicagoland.socal.tmfzy.trasimeno.Thanks,Q
  8. Can anyone please recommend what they think are the best cloud sets to run in fly ll?This is my new system:
  9. OK, I need a desktop not a laptop so I got rid of a large chair and bought a computer armouir. My new PC : Quad9400 processor. 3gb ddr3 ram. PC Power & cooling 610w PSU. GTX 260 216 core GPU. 22" monitor. Just got CH yoke and pedals, no more joystick. Also logitech momo wheel and pedals for racing, another bad habit, but..... I haven`t loaded up FlyII yet but I`m ready, finally!!My question for Earl is what did you do (tweak) to get the jagged edges to disappear? Also, any other fixes would help. ThanksQdog
  10. Waiting patiently also!!Qdog
  11. Brian, I wondered about this possible problem also. I am prepared to buy a separate larger monitor if needed. Dell makes a 20" and 22" flat screen that I checked out at Staples. I`ll let you know how everything goes.Qdog
  12. Flyfisher, I will give you an update when i get up and running.Qdog
  13. Roger, I will check out that article asap, thanks
  14. Thanks guys. It`s good to see some of the original names from back in the day. I moved and because of space restrictions I have been using my girlfriends laptop which is still running a Pentium II so I can`t use flyII. My Desktop is in storage, but it was only a P3. Now that laptops are as powerful as desktops, I am making the leap. Thanks for the info and I think I will go with everything above except the video card will be a GT instead of a GS. Will keep in touch!!Qdog
  15. 50 people have read my post below and not one reply for some help on getting a new system that will run fly. That`s sad. I guess it was coming. Maybe in time.Qdog
