  1. Braathens had 13 -700's. :)

    http://www.planespot...9&fleetStatus=5

So a Braathens SAFE livery on the 700 is the most correct one. :) Maybe use a reg from the list above.

Yes, you are right and wrong. :P

Yes Braathens had -700,but..there is a difference between birds on the old brand Braathens S.A.F.E. and the modern era Braathens.

The -700 in the modern era didn't have the old retro SAFE livery and doesn't look that good.

Btw, Braathens was eventually eaten by SAS and spit out and stepped on when resources was diguested.

Braathens SAFE also had two 767-200 for a while! LN-SUV and LN-SUW,and I've traveled on them both. B)

Hmmm...they call me "stubby" at work. Might be because my last name is Stubbs...lol.

Who better to do that "stubby" little SAFE paint than you then!

  2. Steve,Tommy,That "Braathens" bird has a nice look, but I'm not committing to it. I just want to get through the list I have right now..lol. For some reason that bird in the picture seems a little "stubby" to be a -700. It might be the picture angle. Is that from FS9 or FSX? Is it an AI aircraft?
I have a couple ducks lined up, maybe after that if nobody steps in.Yeah... I would say 600 as well... Or maybe a 500, but the wingtips seem like NG.
Fabo is right. The Braathens SAFE screen is an NG. It is the FS9 PMDG 737-700.Braathens SAFE had a lot of -200's and later -500's + some -400, but never the NG.So it actually would be suitable to choose any or all of the models for the NGX.And yes Steve, the angle of the shot and resizing makes it look a little "stubby". :(

  3. Steve: Awesome -800 job, as the others! That livery is gonna get an all 50 states tour for DVA starting soon. Thanks for your efforts to suit up the NGX. :(Carlitos: Exellent that you contribute to getting new paints an AI counterpart! Nice job :good:Now I'm gonna take the Delta -800 for a spin up in north-western Canada to show it off! :(

  4. Tommy,The -800 can be done relatively quick using the paint layers I've already built. Here's a test shot. The paintkits are close but not exactly the same. I would assume winglets were in order for a -800, but I can leave them off. The example below is nowhere accurate. It's missing the second exit doors on the middle fuselage area. This was just a quick test.I should be able to do this one and have it done in a day or so. Let me know whether to put in the winglets. Right now it's a winglet model.800Test.jpg
Exellent Steve!! I also think that, as you say, since it's a -800 it's in it's place to do it with winglets.Looking forward to fly in style yet again. Maybe I'll just make a tour out of it and fly all Delta 738 routes in the schedule! Thanks for the effort yet again Steve!

  5. Nice work Steve, just bloody nice!! And.. I'm one of those who like a clean and not weathered paint. So I'm a happy camper! If you get around to making an -800 I think DVA will put you on the christmas list.At least I will!Been waiting for and asking for Widget since NGX was released Finally! im%20Not%20Worthy.gif

  6. Getting there...I should be finished with it sometime tomorrow. This will be a "clean" almost freshly painted bird. I didn't leave a lot of weathering on it.Inprogres-2.jpg
Lord oh sweet *******, mother have mercy... Finally a Delta retro widget paint!!!!Exellent work Steve!! :Applause:I beg of you, can you do one for 738 also? Pretty please? :(

  7. I usually change the default view(move the view to the right, for it to be more natrual and correct) when I start a flight. But when I cycle other panels or outside views and comes back into VC, the view is reset.I can't really describe with words how annoying that is...Is it possible, and if so where and what in the panel.cfg do I change the default view in VC?

  8. I'll honor the greatest airline ever, Pan Am,and fly JFK-BOS-JFK same as my first online flight on Vatsim some years ago. Then I'll make a Delta flight from where ever I'm situated at the moment in my Delta Virtual flightline.Next I'll do jump the major airports in Norway up and down with Norwegian.I'll also make sure I have the day/weekend off at release! :(

  9. Yes, I thought those lines were the ones to edit, but it didn't work first time I tried.I have now got it work yes.Btw, the 0.000 on the end is unuseable fuel actually.Well, this makes it easier to simulate a BBJ,or in my case a C-40B operation.Anyone know if it is possible to separate out a spesific model with a tweaked cfg file in a folder of its own?So that one wouldn't have to alter the cfg file back and forth every time you want other numbers.

  10. Wilco Publishing/feelThere already has a 777, Its pretty decent Its the best 777 out there with operatable fuctions that are pretty well simulated
Well.. you can't be serious? :( The Wilco T7 is utter bs. PSS version is much better but still a LOOOOONG way from being a good enough product for the serious flight simmer. We crave a little better realism and quality. So a 777 from the hands of PMDG is something over half of the voting pilots in her want, and probably something 99% in here would purchase and fly anyway. Plus... all those other pilots not really bothered to have an account here. I'm sure that group is 10 times larger than those with an account here. So, a 777 is really in demand! Please make one.Apart from the lack of a really good 777,something I miss is a really good Gulfstream! THAT...would be a treat to the flightsim community! :(
