Violent windshifts
tgsurf replied to starrymarkb's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHello.I ran into the same problem. For me updating FSUPIC solved the problem (as described here:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/356533-stuck-or-invalid-winds-fix-here/). I hope this helps.

AS2012 Multiple wind direction changes in one second
Hi,first of all - I'm not a native speaker but i hope I'm able to describe my problem. After 30-40 minutes of flying on cruising altitude (with PMDGs NGX) and stable wind conditions (e.g. 290/60) the wind speed drops instantly to 5 kts and the direction begins to shift rapidly (e.g. from 250-253 and back - multiple times). This goes on for a couple of minutes and suddenly the wind speed goes back to 60 kts and the plane crashes. I did everything written in the README like adjusting the turbulence scale and disabling turbulence effects but it didn't work.I also tried flying with and without previously entering a flight plan into AS2012 but without success. I'm not using FSUPIC.Any suggestions?Best regards

MD-11 Load Manager
Hi.I'm sorry but I'm not sure about all the differences. Maybe I launched the load manager before starting FSX for the first time after the initial installation (and got the "not connected" message). Another difference to the initial installation was that I installed some liveries before running FSX for the first time.Last but not least after both! installations I had some problems with changing the in game settings in the addon menu as described in the tutorial document on page 2 ("...Displaysʼ to change ʻWeight Indicatorsʼ to KGs....."). To force FSX to keep these settings I had to start FSX as administrator. I'm sorry for my bad English.Regards,Tobi>Tobi, >>Any clue you can give us on that. Differences between initial>installation and re-install? >>Did you have the problem when running the LM with FSX/MD-11>running, or when running as a standalone, or in both cases? >>

MD-11 Load Manager
I'm sorry. I updated my previous post. Yes, FSX was running while I tried to move the slider. I think it is the same problem as discussed in the other thread You mentioned above (german FSX version and german Vista32). RegardsTobi >Are you running FSX and the MD-11 while you're trying this? >The sim does need to be active and running for it to work...
