  1. Hi Brian,

    unfortunately I'm back after a short period of time. :blush:

    Now I have the issue, that the PNF announces the setting of flaps (even on the ground or airborne), but there is no reaction by the plane, the flaps stay where they are. I have to move them by myself.

    As I know it from the MD11 that it is not good to change the views during FS2Crew action, I'm really aware of not doing it. I have not really an Idea, why it is not working. Maybe you can help me in this case too?

  2. Dear FS2Crew team,

    I've a curious problem with the Main Button - and only with it! Regardless what Joystick button or Keyboard I assign for it, nothing happens! The Second Button works properly on my Joystick.

    Well, let's talk about troubleshooting. There's no double assignment neither of the Joystick button nor of the Keyboard commands. Also in the FSUIPC is no assignment for the two buttons. Other Joystick Buttons and Keyboard Buttons are also not working for the Main Button. I'm now at the end with my suggestions. Do you have an Idea what can solve the Problem? Help very appreciated!

    Btw. FS2Crew is v2.2A, the iFly is up to date with SP 3.2.2

    Thx for your help in advance! I would be so happy if you can help me fixing this issue, as I am so happy with my MD11-ButtonControl since many flights and the new Panel in the iFly makes even more fun!

  3. After a long, long time I'm back with my issue! Apologies for not answering earlier! The problem is still the same - I'll show it now on some pics:trackissue2.jpgThis is my track! As you can see, the plane is first on course, but it's "crabbing" like hell (about 20deg) to the wrong side - as there is a strong wind from the west I expect to turn the nose into the wind, so it should "look" to the west! But the plane does not, it puts her tail into the wind! Very strong behavior ... sorry but for this I have no pic!So I tried to get her back on course and klicked the next waypoint on the LEGS page into the scratchpad and executed - the plane should now fly straight on! But what happened? The plane lefts her track to the right and the distance between the track and the plane grows up:2011dec18004.jpg2011dec18003.jpgYou see the plane tries to reach the waypoint and turns her nose more and more towards ... when it reaches the waypoint, it is afterwards flying on it straight on ("crabbing") until I once again re-entered the next waypoint by clicking and executing. Then the problem is back:2011dec18011.jpg2011dec18013.jpgNote the growing of the drift within 6nm! It becomes more and more until half of the distance to the next waypoint is reached - afterwards it goes back to hit the waypoint. Can you now see what I mean? I hope you understand my confuse sentences - it's not my native language! ;)I tried the Flight1-Registry repair with no effect ... I've read sth. about a duplicate or corrupt AFCAD-File which could make this problems ... what about magdev.bgl and magvar.bgl? These were also discussed in the www ... What do you think? Don't want to reinstall my 70 (!) GB flightsim with its hundreds of sceneries etc! sad.pngEDIT: I tried it also with no weather - without any effect on this problem!

  4. Hi,I have a related problem: Enroute on long distances between two waypoints the plane drifts off-route to the right and comes back to overfly the next waypoint correctly. Afterwards happens the same ...This error occurs even at the MD11 and the B744, both FS2004. Using the flight1 registry repair tool does not solve the problem! :(EDIT: This problem startet while flying on a NAT ...

  5. I've had EGT's get a little too high on warmer days ad full thrust takeoffs but ever RPM.I assume you didn't use the overboost bar and your FADEC's were not in ALTN?
    Nope - I neither used the overboost bar nor FADECs were in ALTN!SEQU is at 9227ft - could this cause the problem? As you can see it in my starting post it was not too warm ...

  6. EDIT: I took a look into my aircraft.cfg and found the following weights:

    [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]empty_weight = 363954.0 // Freightermax_gross_weight = 877000.0 // [+2000 for max ramp]max_landing_weight = 665900.0 // max_zerofuel_weight = 635000.0 //
    I think this answered my question - but if I'm wrong, please correct me!

  7. PMDG uses 630000 pounds 285764kg but thats from memory, it's been a while since I flew the 744F Perhaps someone with the sim and documentation in front of them can confirm.
    I own the sim and the documentation! :(But I cannot find anything about the "F" in the documentation! Maybe there is somebody of the "officials" who can confirm that ... :(

  8. Hey Tommy, If you fly the 744F Use Topcat for you calculations, it's free for the 744F but I would still suggest paying to unlock other aircraft.Anyway have a look at these links http://www.topcatsim.com/TOPCAT%20Aircraft...g%20747-400.pdfhttp://www.topcatsim.com/MLW 630000 pounds 285764kgEngine models are simulated if you own the Freight version.RegardsRob
    Hey Rob,thx for your quick reply! :) I'm already using TOPCAT, nevertheless I want to know whether the PMDG B74F has really that MLW which is used by TOPCAT. In my v2.59 the B74F has a MLW of 302903kg which is above the official Boeing-limitations:http://www.boeing.com/commercial/startup/p...s/747f_perf.pdf
