  1. Thank you, appears to have worked perfectly. Slightly better frame rate, too, or at least I think.
  2. Hello everyone, I've been dealing with an issue for awhile now and i just can't find a solution. Basically, when flying larger aircraft (ex. PMDG 747, Wilco airbus series; it's also happened with small GA aircraft too), the graphics start off very good, but over time get worse and worse. This usually happens after I enter a menu (such as the map screen or settings). The first symptom occurs after you exit a menu and return to the sim; the VC of the plane is gone, and the exterior only shows the animated portions of the model (such as flaps, aleriorons, rudder, gear, etc)Sometimes, I can get the sim working again by hitting ESC twice. But after a few minutes more problems occur; textures stop loading, then models stop loading, so everything is gray boxes. Finally, the sky will go black, and the only thing that can be seen is the ground. The really odd part is that FSX will continue to display old frames underneath the news ones. It looks downright psychedelic. Just look at the pics. Finally, FSX will go completely black and will never come back. I can hear the sound still going though, and it changes if I change views or move the throttleAlthough these things tend to happen faster in a larger plane in more demanding settings (clouds, rain, heavy scenery) they happen in aircraft in any size any any condition. It's just a matter of time. It happens in both fullscreen and windowed mode. The only pattern I've noticed is that it seems to happen more often when running Active Sky. Anybody have any idea what's going on? I've tried deleting the FSX.cfg (didn't work), rolling back the drivers (didn't work), and updating to newest beta drivers (didn't work). My specs are: AMD Phenom II x4 @3.9 gHz, 4 gb 1333 RAM, GTX 460 1gb, win7 64bitWhew, hope somebody can shed some light on this. I'll be posting this in a few other places and if anything comes up I'll repost it here. Thanks in advance
