  1. I've been flying out of Harvey since 1982 and have had my Aeronca based here since 2007. A couple of comments on the airport. a. There are no embedded lights in the runway for the threshold. b. The static runway lights are too high and appear in on the west side of the runway of 33. The runway has been completely redone about a year ago and so the scenery of the runway is out of date already. c. There are no signs in the helicopter pads, that is really a distraction. d. There is no place on the Harvey's airport that doesn't have grass groomed to a front yard lawn status. e. The elevation is really off to the east of the runway. There is a significant drop in the northern east side of the runway environment. f. I flew the new Cessna Skycatcher into Harvey and the static planes were the Skycatcher and were sunk up to the top of the tires into the ground. Other than that, it does seem to be pretty close. I have a couple of hundred of photos of the field if anyone is interested in seeing what it is really like.
  2. From the review and screen shots, it looks like they rushed the product a bit. The actual production Cessna 162 has a ventral fin and revised tail shape, due to spin problems. The airframe mod is in the production line aircraft, but the sim modeldoesn't have it. The sim model is based on a second version of the plane... the production plane is version number 4 of the design. Cessna also redid some of the control throws and limits to help the spin recovery. At Oshkosh 2010 they had three of themaround the area and I got to see them fly a couple at Fond duLac airport. They have also updated the interior a bit. I'm going to wait for a good exterior model and actual flight model before getting a sim model... this is a good first try, but needs a v.2 to really work..
