  1. Hello all, My request is for a panel state that would be similar to the state of the aircraft found when a new crew enters the aircraft for a flight. Basically, if a new crew was taking over the aircraft, during the normal course of the day (not the first flight of the aircraft), what would the panel state be when the new crew comes on board?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Respectfully,Mark B.
  2. With 9 minutes to go, I cannot hear the Flight Attendant give her announcement. When I turn on the (can't remember button, but it activates the FA audio) and rotate the mouse wheel, the yellow number will only advance to "1". But still no joy on the FA's announcements... Any advice?
  3. I plan on continuing to use the CPU Cooler Master Intel Core i5 compatible Hyper TX3 Socket 775/1156/AMD 130W 92mm "heatpipe direct contact" that I used previously. I just need some more of the thermal paste (not sure where to find that just yet...)
  4. Ok, so I purchased the i5-2500k for the CPU, and ASRock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 for the MOBO... First question, are there any tips or steps that I need to know before simply turning off the computer, removing the existing chip and mobo and reinstalling the new ones? I know this is a general question, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  5. In all honesty, I am not confident in my ability to OC a chip... This might sound bad, but I would rather purchase a faster chip due to my lack of computer knowledge. I personally built this computer, so I know the basics. But I would not go as far as to say I could OC a chip. I don't have any current data from running FSX. I built the computer, installed FSX, then turned back to FS2004 to see the difference, and I stuck with FS2004. Now, I want to get back to FSX, and I have the money, so I am going to go ahead with a computer upgrade. Thank you all again!
  6. Ok, so I should upgrade my CPU and MOBO first. Suggestions would be i5-2500k for the CPU, and ASRock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 for the MOBO... Any other suggestions? BTW, you guys are amazing. Thank you so much for the help. You have no idea how much I appreciate your assistance!
  7. I am in the market to upgrade my current computer. I am upgrading in an effort to run FSX with higher settings. Of the following components (currently installed), which would you upgrade, and what would you suggest for a product? Thank you very much in advance for your suggestions. I greatly appreciate the help!! 8. Thanks Dario! I will add you when I get in later this evening. I really truly appreciate your help!
  9. Thank you all for your suggestions. I greatly appreciate it.To upgrade my graphics card, what would your suggestions be? GTX460?Overclocking sounds good, but I have heard you really need to know what your doing, and I will be honest, I don't. I built my computer (1st one) myself, but that was just plugging components in... Is there a tutorial on overclocking my specific CPU?
  10. The following are my hardware specs:CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition Heka 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Intel Core i5 compatible Hyper TX3 Socket 775/1156/AMD 130W 92mm "heatpipe direct contact" HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard DriveMotherboard: ASUS AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Video Card: EVGA 512-P3-1140-TR GeForce GTS 250 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI SupportPower Supply: COOLMAX 700W ATX 12V V2.3RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (4 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel KitMicrosoft W7 64 BitMy question is, using FSX, what type of performance "should" I be seeing... And secondly, are there any hardware upgrades you would suggest that will increase performance?Thank you in advance for your help. I greatly appreciate your feedback.
  11. Ok, found a solution for now... I tried using each of the Landing Light Files located in the REX Images/Lighting/Landing_Lights file. However, none of them changed the configuration of the lights, only the texture colors... I still had the same problem. I searched the AVSIM Library and found the spotlight.bmp enhancement file that was available, and gave it a try... SUCCESS!! The landing & taxi lights now light up the surface like they are supposed to!!My Next question: Where can I find the FSX original spotlight.bmp file so I can see if my original file was corrupt? Also: If the REX spotlight.bmp files did not fix the problem, are the REX files corrupt?Any help is greatly appreciated.THANKS AGAIN ahinterl!!!! I greatly appreciate it!!
  12. Makes sense... One more question (for now): Do you still "uncheck" the REX Landing Lights Option?I will try this when I get home and report back....
  13. Did your Landing/Taxi Lights problem look like this?? I have looked everywhere for a solution to this problem, with no luck.... I tried the Landing Lights option in REX, and it didn't work... Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  14. Jim,I am using the light package from A2A... Shockwave 3d lights...Do you have a solution to share since this is a common issue???Thank you!!
  15. I don't believe its a feelthere thing... I believe its the angle of the lights. But I am unsure how to adjust that..Any ideas?
  16. I have a problem with my taxi lights lighting up the surface in (2) different areas... Can anyone help?I am using the Feelthere E-Jets v2 175, W7 and FSX. Let me know if you need any additional information. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  17. Well, turned out to be a disagreement between the PIC and FSINN... I uninstalled FSINN and installed SB4, and now the cockpit is now clickable... ridiculous that I can't use FSINN...
  18. Thank you all for your suggestions... I will try them tonight and report back... If anyone else has any other ideas, I would greatly appreciate it!Thank you!!
  19. That was my original plan, but I needed a 737 for my VA and I am too spoiled with other payware (like the LevelD) to revert back to the default aircraft... I have seen in some other forums that FSINN maybe the culprit... I haven't used squawkbox, and I can't believe that these two addons conflict with eachother... I was so happy with the ERJ package that Wilco/Feelthere put out, but I gotta tell ya, I am extrememly dissapointed with the 737PIC and its support. Not to get too far off topic, but when I went in search of a solution on the Feelthere forums, I was really surprised with the lack of "effort" put forth to solve a problem that many people have had so far... The solutions are confusing and offer different results to different people with the same issue. Not to mention the fact, that after I downloaded the full version (the one that specifically says it works with W7), I was then told to download the Upgrade (an additional $10)... With no luck...
  20. Yes I ran the installer as Administrator and yes I have run the config manager...I just cannot figure this one out...
  21. I purchased the Vista upgrade and it still doesn't work...
  22. I purchased the Wilco/FT 737 PIC... I have W7, FSX w/ SP1 & SP2 installedI purchased the Full Download Version (the version that says its good for W7) from the WilcoPub Website, and then purchased the Upgrade (because I read in a forum that should work, but it didn't).My problem is that none of the switches work. Its just like clicking on a picture... Can anyone help? Thank you so much in advance!!
  23. I received a response... They asked if I had downloaded and installed the service packs... I did not realize there were service packs... So anyway, I will try this tonight and see if that solves the problem....
  24. Yes I have logged a trouble ticket with them. Still waiting patiently.
