32bit true color. i have a MSI x58 motherboard with the i7 chip. i just reinstalled xp, had the same issue. i tried an old pci card same problem. so it not my 8800gts 512. rightnow im trying an new harddrive seeing if thats the issue. after this im thinking that it has to be something with the motherboard. like i said i notice no only in game but on the net as well. its just really weird. it really came out of the blue. one day fine, the next not.

im having a problem with images displaying right. All images i view on my computer seem to look like they're in 16bit mode, and yes im running everything in 32bit trude color mode. I've tried everything i can think of to fix this problem. I've re-installed windows 7 32bit. that didn't work. So i thought maybe it was my graphic card. went out and bought a new one and of course no luck. I have no clue whats going on. one day everything was fine the next day this issue. ive even tried different monitors. im lost. any suggestions? mel
