  5. Hi I am soon to build a 737 cockpit (waiting for parts to arrive). My budget originally was £3000 ($5000 i think). That is without 737 yokes and 737 throttle. But I have gone over my budget by about £1000. With that I have to get software (prosim737.com - cheapest and best around - it's free until January 2012 then it will be 300 euros lifetime updates), a 737 FMC, overhead panel, all circuit boards for the overhead and main instrument panel. One thing I will say is that unless you have lots of money, you need to be good at DIY and electronics in general. Luckily I have a friend who is good at both. But the things I bought which I could of made myself were, the mip, the structure for the mip, and the glareshield. You will be suprised, it is a hell of a lot cheaper if you build almost everything yourself. Two good informative websites to check (and sometimes has second hand sim parts for sale at bargain prices) is cockpitbuilders.com and mycockpit.org. Hope this helps. Dan
