  1. Hey guys, I've hit a wall with a problem I'm having getting RC to work properly with FSX. I keep getting a 'run-time error 75 : RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code' when I click for clearance delivery once I've started RC. I have up until this point had no problem running RC on my computer which has a Windows 10 OS and Kaspersky Antivirus software. Disclaimer: I noticed this issue last night when I was playing FSX for the first time in 9-10 months. I'm not aware of any major changes made to my computer since then that could interfere with RC, which, as I mentioned has never given me a problem before. To troubleshoot, I ran RC as an administrator and then checked Kaspersky settings to make sure RC was listed as a trusted application, which it was. Those two things didn't work. I then uninstalled RC and reinstalled it and ran the program in FSX. At first, the clearance delivery went through and I thought the issue was solved. I closed out of RC and proceeded with my pre-flight setup. When I went to restart RC, I received the same error notice. I'm not sure what to do or what's preventing the program from operating correctly. Another disclaimer: my computer was upgraded to the Windows 10 OS from windows 7 OS. I can't remember if the upgrade occurred since I last played FSX but that could be a factor. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter. Corey
  2. Ok, so after the post I reloaded the flight and realized that there were two jetways appearing because the new afcad was showing over the old one. I now only have one jetway. But is there a way to get multiple jetways for heavies?
  3. Hey all,I just downladed and installed freeware scenery for Moscow's Domodedovo Airport. The editor included double jetbridges for heavy airplanes and since I fly the PMDG 747-400 I would love to connect the second bridge. However, when I click CTRL-J, only the main exit bridge moves. How do I get the second jetway to move to the second passenger door? My specs are Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers
  4. Hello all,After completing a flight with fs2crew activated, I decided to do another flight right after but couldn't figure out how to reset the fs2crew flight planner for the next flight without exiting fsx and restarting through the fs2crew start center. How do I reset the flight planning page without exiting the simulator? My specs are Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers
  5. Found the fix: deleted (or moved to a folder outside of fsx) the missionpanels.cfg file found in the gauges folder. Thanks for your help guys.
  6. Yes, they haven't been any help.Since my last post I have discovered that the MAP addon works fine with FS2Crew, but the moment I start FsPassengers, that's when it crashes. So those two addons aren't compatible for some reason and I need to troubleshoot. I'm going to repost on the the Feel there forum and check the FsPassengers forums for any clues.
  7. TCAS2v7.dll: See here.So I followed the instructions of this post and determined this is not an issue...or at least the root of my crashes. G2D.dll: Things to check: Are you running FSX with SP2 or Acceleration installed? Running Acceleration Is Windows Update enabled so you have the latest MSVC and .NET Runtimes? Windows Update is enabled and I believe I have the latest versions of everything. What is MSVC? Is your video driver up-to-date? Yes Are you running in DX9? Yes. This is what PMDG has to say. If using ASE weather, start ASE before starting FSX I'm using REX to texture my weather but I don't run the weather engine. So I did some searching around the forums and found some other postings concerning a similar issueand two fixes I came across were "problem solved by deleting missionpanel.cfg" and "Deleting d3d10.dll and dxgi.dll solved the problem, thanks :)". I tried to do both of these; however, I couldn't quite find the files listed exactly as stated in those posts. So I took a chance and removed the file "mpc.cfg" from the FSX folder and files "d3dx10.dll" and "dxgi.dll" from the system 32 folder. I restarted FSX and got a crash after that with panels.dll error code. I feel like I'm making the problem worse and I'm removing symptoms of the issue but not the root cause of my problem.
  8. Jahman,I had a hard time finding the error report folder as there wasn't a system maintenance option under control panel. However, I think I may have stumbled on what you're referring to by just looking around. I have several of these error codes as the game has crashed many times. I've noticed that the faulting module for many of the crashes linked to fsx are .dll files. As of late, they are mostly g2d.dll (which I think is the problem causing the crashes related to the panel.cfg issue), but I also saw a TCAS2v7.dll fault and last month, when I first got the comp, I had several uiautomationcore.dll faults (which I've since resolved by replacing it with the vista version). I'm including a copy of all three in order: g2d.dll, TCAS2v7.dll, and uiautomationcore.dll 2/19/2012 12:02 PM Application Error Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: g2d.dll, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb58 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0001de63 Faulting process id: 0x1a6c Faulting application start time: 0x01cceef32d2d9a9b Faulting application path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xfsx.exe Faultingmodule path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xg2d.dll Report Id: 8a6080b2-5af1-11e1-808e-101f741337c62/16/2012 11:12 AM Application Error Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: TCAS2v7.dll, version: 1.1.6.0, time stamp: 0x4633aecd Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00006186 Faulting process id: 0x1454 Faulting application start time: 0x01ccec86d6f66104 Faulting application path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xfsx.exe Faulting module path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XTCAS2v7.dll Report Id: 155ab9df-588f-11e1-80c6-101f741337c61/29/2012 10:51 AM Application Error Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: uiautomationcore.dll, version: 6.0.5840.16386, time stamp: 0x45398e5f Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0001dd8d Faulting process id: 0x3574 Faulting application start time: 0x01ccde5869fce94c Faulting application path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xfsx.exe Faulting module path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xuiautomationcore.dll Report Id: 37ec92b3-4a67-11e1-9d05-101f741337c6 Byork,I 've removed the MAP configuratrion from the folder and the game is working fine which is how I figured out that it was the MAP addon causing me the problem in the first place. I haven't tried it at a default airport yet and will see if that is having any affect.CJ
  9. I don't get an error report. It just says fatal error crash and then quickly flashes to "microsoft flight simulator is restarting" before I realize what is happening. It only does this when I have the MAP addon active in the panel cfg folder. It's as if PMDG, FS2CREW and MAP aren't compatible together...something is clashing in the panel cfg.
  10. I've been trying to configure the PMDG 747 vc panel to accomodate FS2CREW and the FEELTHERE MAP add-ons. However, each time I load the game, I get a fatal error crash a few minutes into gameplay, which leads me to believe that the MAP add-on is not compatible with either the PMDG 747 or FS2CREW. Or that I'm missing something in the panel configuration. Below are my specs and the panel cfg as it is set for fs2crew and MAP.My specs are Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////02NOV07//VERSION 2.00.0031// //PMDG 747-400/400F for FSX////This Panel.CFG was modified with PMDG's permission and is//distributed with FS2Crew under license from PMDG. 11. Thanks all for your help. I'll look into troubleshooting the problem based on your suggestions.
  12. So I've tried quite a few things based on what I've read in the forums already. I've switched my UIIAutomationCore.dll file with one from Vista, I've changed the UIIAutomationCore.dll settings in the cmd dialog box and I've added all of my add-ons one at a time and rebooted the system after each one. I'm still getttng ctd's with the following error message. I've included all of the details which are quite long, but I would love if someone can help me figure out how to adjust my settings to get rid of this exception. My specs are: HP Pavilion dv7-6135dx, Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers, REX 2.0, GEX North America. Also, I'm running FSX on a laptop with a coolsense temperature control, but the comp still runs very hot. Could this be contributing to CTD's? Should I invest in a cooling pad? Here's the error:Microsoft.Net FrameworkUnhandled exception has occurred in your applicationException from HRESULT: 0xC000020D See the end of this message for details on invokingjust-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.************** Exception Text **************System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xC000020D): Exception from HRESULT: 0xC000020D at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo) at Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.SimConnect.ReceiveDispatch(SignalProcDelegate pfcnSignal) at Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.SimConnect.ReceiveMessage() at rexwxengine.controls.ucLoadAircraftLocation.DefWndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.UserControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)************** Loaded Assemblies **************mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5448 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll----------------------------------------rexwxengine Assembly Version: 1.0.3.38666 Win32 Version: 1.0.2008.1126 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Real%20Environment%20Xtreme/rexwxengine.exe----------------------------------------System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5446 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll----------------------------------------System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5447 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll----------------------------------------System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll----------------------------------------Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect Assembly Version: 10.0.61242.0 Win32 Version: 10.0.61355.0 (fsx-sp1.20070510-2038) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_32/Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect/10.0.61242.0__31bf3856ad364e35/Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.dll----------------------------------------msvcm80 Assembly Version: 8.0.50727.4940 Win32 Version: 8.00.50727.4940 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/WinSxS/x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.4940_none_d08cc06a442b34fc/msvcm80.dll----------------------------------------System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll----------------------------------------System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll----------------------------------------System.Data Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_32/System.Data/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Data.dll----------------------------------------************** JIT Debugging **************To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for thisapplication or computer (machine.config) must have thejitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debuggingenabled. For example:<configuration> <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" /></configuration>When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exceptionwill be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computerrather than be handled by this dialog box. 13. Hi,I tried searching in multiple forums for the answer to this before posting - because I assume I'm not the first person to encounter this problem - but no luck. So here goes. Occasionally, when the aircraft has been sitting at the gate for a while running on the APU, everything will go dark and cold and I am unable to restart the APU. Even if I reload the Cold and Dark panel state from the PMDG menu, I can't get the aircraft to respond. I usually end up reloading my last saved flight when the plane was up and running. I'm assuming this has something to do with the master battery or something similar. I just don't know what buttons to push when. My specs are Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers
  14. I fly a United Airlines 747-400 that I downloaded from a freeware site. I am interested in purchasing the FS2Crew add-on for the cockpit but would love to continue to use my UA model. Is there a way to do this? If so, how? I have FSX and my OS is Vista.
  15. David, I figured it out. Thanks for your help.
  16. It's freeware. Here's the link: http://www.flightsim....php?fid=148658I installed as the instructions suggested in the read me file. I opened a new folder under the scenery folder entitled "egll" and installed the files.I'm not sure if I was supposed to activate the files by doing something else. If so, what is that?
  17. I just downloaded a new version of Heathrow airport but when I open the game to that airport it's the same default airport. I currently have my traffic x as my AI program and I rum FSX on Vista OS. How do I get the new airport to display in the game? Thanks in advance for any advice.
  18. HI all, I was wondering if there was anyway to get my user aircraft and my flight plan to register and appear on the my traffic board. I love that I can see other Ai traffic schedules, but would love to see my plane there as well.On another note, unrelated to My traffic, I just downloaded add-on aircraft and I was wondering how do I get the system (particularly ATC) to recognize my company's name. I am using FS Passengers and am building a fleet of airlines using United Airlines. However, the system refers to my aircraft as either "Uniform Alpha" (for UA) or Boeing. How do I get ATC to recognize it as "United"? Lastly where's a good place to go to get lessons on navigation and communication. I mostly use autopilot and gps to navigate but don't quite understand, VOR, NDB, ADF, approaches, etc. and how to use these if I'm flying VFR.
  19. I can't get my add on aircraft to configure in the aircraft.cfg folder under the SimObjects folders. Everytime I make a change and try to save the new file, I get:"Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Bombardier_CRJ-700\aircraft.cfg.file.Make sure that the path and file name are correct"I'm trying to build a fleet of United Airlines aircraft and 1 1/2 years ago I was able to successfully add a 747. However, I'm having a hard time getting any aircraft to show up now. FYI, I've recently been upgrading my sim experience by downloading a lot of add-ons: mytrafficx, utx, fspassengers and fscommander. I wonder if any of these could cause a problem. Thanks in advance for your help.OS - Vista, FSX Acceleration
  20. Hi,I have installed My traffic X and have noticed the removal of the default airlines and addition of real world airlines which is great. However, some major airlines aren't showing up; particularly United airlines, American, US Airways and Southwest. Does anyone know why this is? I have also flown to the hubs of some of these airlines, (Ohare and DFW) and it's like a ghost town at these airports - very few planes at the gates and hardly any coming in for landing. Would love some advie on how to remedy this. Thanks in advance.
  21. Ziffel,Yes, I did the first two steps on the left (they were done automatically by my computer) and they both say completed. What do you mean by then I need to make my overall config choices? Is that a separate step? There is nothing in the back up box drop down. When I try to hit save, it says I need to select a backup file.
  22. I just downloaded and installed REX. However, I seem to be having trouble getting it to start properly. The configuration manager opens soon after downloading and instructs me to backup some files from a pull down menu. However there is nothing in the menu. There's a create button, which I push and that changes the "not complete" note to "Completed". I then click the Save button; however, it won't save - perhaps because the backup box is empty. I don't know how to get the program to recognize a path to place the backup file. After finally gigving up and just closing the window, I opened MSX which opened the REX prompt; however, that's having trouble opening as it keeps stopping and restarting after 4% loading each time. very frustrating. I have OS vista. Thanks for your advice in advance.
  23. Thanks for your help Opa. I am using Vista OS. What is DX10? and I would love to hear of some conversion utilities.
  24. Hi all. I just downloaded from the avsim hot list about 75-100 AI aircraft to FSX using World of AI installer. Everything seemed to work fine in the downloaded process; howver, when I opened FSX, none of the AI traffic was appearing. Eventually, I could see the red labeling for planes that were approaching for landing, but I couldn't see the plane itself. Most of the downloads were labeled MFS 2004 but the WOAI Installer gave me the option to apply it to FSX and I assumed it was compatible. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? In addition, I'm fairly new to MFS and I am looking to upgrade my standard simulator with add-ons to make it more realistic and detailed with airports, AI traffic and overall gameplay. Would love some suggestions on some downloads to help get me going. Thanks
