hey, mjrhealththanks for the reply - yes, i forgot that - so any idea where those puzzle-piece patches come from (they're all gone now after GEX, but still curious, is it just an FSX glitch)the pic above, they say they have all the addons too (global/utx/gex/rex/et. al) but as you can see it doesn't look much better than FSX out-the-box; other than apparently having his/her settings way low (which is why the overall image quality may be so poor) where are those puzzle patches coming from (would like to post some help for them, cause nobody seems to have posted anything for him/her)thanks, again!

hey, allwell, after installing UTX, most of the missing patches prob has disappeared (i only had fs global at the time of my post); still a sparse few "puzzle pieces" patches, but i'll see what happens to those after i install GEXin any case, still interested to know if anyone has seen this puzzle-piece "glitch" (image below)ok, will update this after GEX, in a few...Peace, Love, & Successalexbtw, this above pic is not a screenshot of my actual fsx, it's a pic i found on simforums that seems to have the same prob (but no fix is mentioned) - dunno how to take screenshots myself yet (lol) but when i learn i'll post some (so far the results with gs global & utx alone are mindblowing - the pic above i assume has no such addons & the graphic settings must be very low, cause it looks like a totally different game from mine, and i do all my testing/tweaking in the default flight, which this pic is too)

hey, allhope all's well & better than well...firstly, i'm an immensely avid & enthusiastic "newbie", so please pardon any "basic" questions (lol)anywho, just installed FS GLOBAL 2010, and although it does make a great difference, i now notice thatthere are lots of "puzzle shaped" patches missing from the groundscattered throughout the basic sceneryi've searched for this problem to no avail as of yet (tried a few suggested fixes seemed related), plus deactivated/activated FS GLOBAL in scenery library (rebooted each time, etc), but the missing patches still there (also tried a fix which "flushes" the shader cache, but nothing ;-((lol) so, please, if anybody has any info bout this prob at all, lemme know - i'm so eager to play with the new scenery addons i got, especially because i finally got FSX to run smooth consistant franerates (turns out i had vsync off, turned it on, and voila - no more stutters/pops etc; is this an example of what i meant by "basic newbie" - lol)thanks, all - greatly looking forward to reply's...Peace, Love, & Successalex
