  1. No problem Wilem. For even better performance set MTX @ 30%. ThIs an explanation why. read post #90 from Jim. I set the traffic at 30% and made a new flight! all went Well, no problems what so ever. I thank you again for all the help, now i can enjoy the 777
  2. I made a new flight with the 2010 timetable MTX traffic set to 39% and only once the simulator freezed up for about 10 sec and after that no problems anymore.I hope that this was the solution for me. I must say the 777 flies awesome. Thank you for helping me.
  3. Ok thanks i will try that, i wil post the outcome.
  4. Hello, I also had FSX freeze, this occurred 10 min after takeoff (could only use the task manager). i bought the 777 yesterday, and this problem never occured when flying the ngx. the only thing i did was installing the 777 the rest has stayed the same. rex essential overdrive (weather) rex 4 texture direct my traffic x 5.4c (traffic set to 40%) i hope that this could be fixed, because the 777 is really amazing. any suggestions?
  5. Yessssss you were right i put in the wrong low transition altitude in my PERF INIT page , i corrected and now all is well.Thank you all for the quick and usefull answers.kind regards,
  6. Yes i know, i am talking about the settings below transition altitude.when i reach transition altitude then i use the STD knob and my setting becomes 29.92inHg and it's green again. Before my reinstall i adjusted my altimiter as given by the ATC and it lid green on my display.but now it lid yellow (as it usually does when you fly higher then transition altitude)im sorry for not being very clear about my problem.Kind regards,
  7. Hello again,I set my altimeter as given by the tower and keep adjusting it as the ATC gives me the new settings.I have reinstaled ngx (because of my new computer) and so i noticed this (it is differend as it whas before).I must missed something in my configuration. :)So what i try to say is that the altimeter settings are ser correctly i guess.kind regards,
  8. Hello Daniel,At first it stayed green until i reached FL180 then it turned into yellow, so i pushed the STD butten and it becomes green again (29.92in).but now it becomes yellow at 1000 feet. It's like it has a mismatch.kind regards,
  9. Hello,When i set my altimeter then it is green.and when i am start flying it turns into yellow. And when i push the STD on the baro knob it becomes green (STD).What am i doing wrong.kind regards,
  10. I agree, Family first (always).Wishing all the best to your father! Take all the time you need.We will wait, no problem. kind regards
  11. Hello, I to had my first freeze, my flightplan was EHAM - LEPA.taking of from rwy 24 and folowed sid ARNE2S just after takeoff my panel froze, and just 2 sec later fsx froze, i had to stop fsx within taskmanager (stop process). After that i repeated exactly the same fligh, and now without any problems. after my freeze i checked my system and found nothing. I never had any freeze before (did 60 flight's) and the only thing i changed was my cpu clockspeed 2.8 to 3.4.I checked my temp and memory after the freeze (coretemp) and the highest temp was 56 C.mem 3.2 Gb.i try to reproduce the freeze and if i can i report back. kind regard,
  12. Thank you guy's I did buy another cooler and oc my i7 860 (first to 3.4) and finally fsx runs smooth.I didn't expect that it would have so much impact for the smoothness of fsx.so therefore thank you guy's for sharing your knowledge kind regards.
  13. Jonathan, It's not my traffic x, in my case after installing traffic x my FPS dropped about 1 or 2 with traffic set to 30.It mite be your internal memory (it's only 4 Gig) because you are using a lot of addons.Check your taskmanager and look into performance and monitor the usage of memory.it ain't your hardware, also begin with your sliders to the left and see what happens, and slowly build it up until you are sattisfied. kind regards,
  14. Now that's also parly true, The only way Dan responses is by e-mail, but never seen him answering any items on his forum. The patch we are waiting for should be ready 2 years ago, and now i'm reading that they are searching for beta testers regarding the update of fspax (so maybe it comes out this year).quote: Dear all,I would need somes beta testers to test the update of FsPassengers04 (x version will follow)Beta test is an essential work, the final result relly for a great part on your job. So if:-You fly often with FsPassengers04 lately-Is at least 18 old-Can read and follow test instructions-Are verbose and can give feedback (this is essential)-Have time for this (may be short for 04 version, one or two month at max).(Date 01-07-11 ) so fingers crossed . I think that we are somewhat spoiled by the excellent support of the pmdg team. kind regards,
  15. Hello, With the pmdg 747 i change the amount of fuel in preflight so i get the popup (no refuel allowed in flight) en press ok en can use fspax during the flight without any problems. With the pmdg 737NGX i fill (in fspax) the same amount of fuel as in the FMC en had never seen a popup (no refuel allowed during flight). I always use fspax and must say that things have changed for the better within the NGX. kind regards,
