Folks, I have just received my MCP737-R + EFIS737 Pro and installed VAInterface (Win7 64bit Ult SP1). It looks all is fine with FSX but I have issues with X-Plane 10 (10.50). When loading VAInterface after opening X-Plane I am getting the following message: Not able to connect to VAInterface.dll, please restart VAInternace. Reloading does not help. I am attaching one of my log files. It refers to X-Plane on drive F: but in reality it is on drive G:. I do not have any reference to X-Plane on drive F: in the registry. Any hint how to overcome the issue? Eugene, Agreed. SkyDemon is a very good option for VFR especially for EU countries. I am using it too for simming in XP when I prepare my real GA flights to airports I have never visited before. Also it is a great support for rehearsing circuits especially for the airports with non-standard pattern. One thing not discussed yet in this thread is a use of flight navigation apps in commercial flights as passengers. I do travel a lot on business and usually record, monitor, track all my flights. I am always surprised how precise iOS or Android units are in terms of GPS accuracy and sensitivity. The only problem I had in getting GPS syngal was in 787 probably because of the composite fuselage. Br, Adam.

Folks, just noticed this topic googling for the status of Foreflight 8 release. I also have some expectations re v8. Agreed with Lizz that EU and other parts of the World were a bit neglected in previous versions. When I am simming in NAM I unusually use Foreflight (FSX, XP). For those in EU (but also in NAM) for all VFR flights please try Jeppesen Mobile Flight Deck VFR - could be a budget version as you can buy a license for selected countries. I use it for a real VFR flying alternating with Garmin Pilot which in EU covers well VFR and IFR (but much more expensive) Cheers, Adam
