  1. Hello guys i need some help in order to create a simple gauge. The reason i am writing this post is that i am completely amateur in gauge creation so i need some help. My goal is to create a simple gauge that will shows the center of gravity with zero fuel weight and the center of gravity with gross weight at the same time. Is this possible? Maybe a quick start tutorial on gauge creation? Many thanks in advance.
  2. Hello guys and many thanks for your effort to help. The above picture is very very helpfull. Also any more help is great appriciated! Kind regards Lykon
  3. Hello guys and best wishes for the new year. I desperately need some help with some issues i am having in order to edit some aircraft commands inside .cfg and .air files. I am currently working to create an airbus a320 FDE and i have all data needed from real charts and i have almost done with my project but i need some extra help with some things i have not cleared them yet. First of all inside aircraft.cfg i want to ask about the command "wing_pos_apex_lon". As far as i know there is no command you can define the length of the aircraft inside aircraft.cfg but i have the real value from the H-arm estimated about 2.5 meters forward from the aircrafts nose. Also i have the length of the wing apex estimated from the aircrafts nose to the wing apex but i don't know for sure that if i put in the command "reference_datum_position" the lenght from the H-arm to the the MAC or to the root chord this would be sufficient but i have did a compromise and i have used both commands: reference_datum_position=0.000, 0.000, 0.000 empty_weight_CG_position=0.000, 0.000, 0.000 and after this i have fix a value inside "wing_pos_apex_lon" to give me the model's dry operating weight 25% mac which in my opinion is totally wrong. Any comments or any help in this would be highly appreciated. Also i am having problems in order to calculate inside .air file and particurarly inside the "1101" section the correct values for these commands: ,Airframe Type, = ? ,Fuselage AoA at Min Induced Drag, = ? ,CL_adot Lift - AoA rate (?),= ? ,CL_q Lift - Pitch rate (?),= ? ,CL_de Lift - Elevator,= ? ,CL_dh Lift - Horizontal Stabilizer, = ? ,Cmo Pitch Moment Coeff at AoA=0 (Trim os), = ? ,Cm_adot Pitch Moment - AoA Rate, = ? ,Cm_h Pitch Moment - Horizontal Stabilizer, = ? Currently i am using for these values the boeing 737 default values which they are comming from the "TwinEngineCommercialJet" template from inside templates folder from FS9 but while whith these above compromises i did the aircraft is flying well and stable it is not airbus. I would be very greatfull is someone could assist me of how maybe with some formulas or with a quick tutorial help me to estimate these values. Many thanks in advance. Kind regards Lykon
  4. Hello Don, i have checked aircraft.cfg in the [Flaps] section and i saw these commands :lift_scalar =1.000drag_scalar=1.000I have reduce these two commands to :lift_scalar =0.500drag_scalar=0.500and now it is working perfect. May many thanks for your help! I need your help in a last issue. I need to estimate the correct value in the record 1101 in the pitch section the " Cm_dt Pitch Moment - Trim ". The description of this value as it comes from the " AircraftAirfileManager " is this :Per RadianMaximum Cm_t = Cm_dt * Max_Defl(rad) Sec 320Each 'click' of KB pitch trim is 1/1024 RangeAffects Autopilot Altitude Hold. See SEC 1199 #14Do you know how i can estimate this? Many thanks in advance.
  5. Hello guys i need some help in order to fix an issue i have. I have create an a320 based on the ifdg a320 using the airwrench program. The aircraft is flying well in all the parts of the flight except for the landing. There for example when i am in full configuration ( full flaps extended and gear down ) and i have about 4 tones of fuel and about of 18 tones of payload and my zfw is 61 tones my status are as follows. When in outer marker i must maintain a speed of 155-160 knots and a pitch of 5-7 degrees so i can have a vs of -700 feet. In reality in the same conditions they have a speed of about 135 knots and a pitch of about 2.5 degrees to maintain a vs of about -700 feet with the same loading so i must have done something wrong with the .air file. Can someone please help me identify which tables of the .air file are responcible for this issue so i can fix it? Many thanks in advance.
  6. Hello guys i just want to ask where i can find tutorias about the fs earth tiles? Many thanks in advance.
  7. Hello guys i am trying to balance an aircraft with values from reall charts but i need some help with some entries in .air file. The entries i need some help are the "1204","1515" and the "1534" In the 1204 i need some help to estimate the "8=16,int32,<16h> Main Wing Center of Lift" entry, in the 1515 i need some help to estimate the"4=18,double,Root Cord (ft)" and the "5=20,double,Unknown" and into the 1534 the value "3=10,double,*CoL Offset from MAC (in)".Currntly i am working on an a320 project airbus aircraft and the new custom aircraft.cfg is this.[airplane_geometry]wing_area=1317.55000 //Real valuewing_span=111.25000 //Real valuewing_root_chord=14.07000 //Real valuewing_dihedral=3.30000wing_incidence=0.00000wing_twist=0.00000oswald_efficiency_factor=0.76500 //0.745 Pa valuewing_winglets_flag=1wing_sweep=25.00000wing_pos_apex_lon=15.57200 //16.813 Pa valuewing_pos_apex_vert=0.70000//htail_area=333.68000htail_span=41.67000htail_pos_lon=-57.34000htail_pos_vert=6.50000htail_incidence=0.00000htail_sweep=0.00000//vtail_area=231.42000vtail_span=17.99000vtail_sweep=0.00000vtail_pos_lon=-54.52000vtail_pos_vert=19.91000//elevator_area=76.50000aileron_area=57.00000rudder_area=56.20000//elevator_up_limit=25.00000elevator_down_limit=15.00000aileron_up_limit=25.00000aileron_down_limit=15.00000rudder_limit=25.00000elevator_trim_limit=13.50000spoiler_limit=50.00000//spoilerons_available=1 aileron_to_spoileron_gain=1.50000 min_ailerons_for_spoilerons=12.00000 min_flaps_for_spoilerons=0.00000 spoiler_extension_time=1.50000spoiler_handle_available=1auto_spoiler_available=1//positive_g_limit_flaps_up=5.00000negative_g_limit_flaps_up=-4.00000positive_g_limit_flaps_down=3.50000negative_g_limit_flaps_down=-3.00000load_safety_factor=1.00000I have found these values for the a320 from web search : Model A320 Wing: Area_(m?) = 122.40 Span_(m) = 33.91 MAC_(m) = 4.29 Aspect_Ratio = 9.39 Taper_Ratio = 0.240 1/4_Chord_Sweep = 25.00 High_Lift_Devices: Trailing_Edge_Flaps_Type = F1 Flap_Span/Wing_Span = 0.780 Leading_Edge_Flaps_Type = slats I would be really greatfull guys if anyone of you can help me to of how i can estimate the values of the .air files i have wrote above and if anyone of you has any of the missing real values of the a320 so i can write an aircraft.cfg for this aircraft to fly as much possible close as in reality. Many thanks in advance.
  8. Hello guys i need some help with the section 1534 in the .air file. I want to fine tune the " *CoL Offset Fore+/Aft-(ft) " but i don't know how. I currently has put the "CoG" inside my aircraft.cfg which is this :empty_weight_CG_position= 0.813, 0.000, 0.000 and my ref point is this :reference_datum_position= 0.000, 0.000, 0.000Can someone please assist me of how i can do this? Also i have noticed that the most aircraft they have about 130 sections in their .air file but the default A321 of the fsx has only 58. So if i need to fine tune an aircraft for the fsx should i need only to have inside .air file these 58 sections only and the rest is taken from aircraft.cfg? Many thanks in advance.
  9. Hello bstolle, i have used the aam and after i have change the section 404 i have corrected the picth attitude! Many many many thanks for your help!
  10. Hello bstolle and thank you very much for your responce. I will try to edit the 404 section with the help of the " AircraftAirfileManager " and i will let you know what's happen. I have bought the " Airwrench " but this program instead of letting me do some specific changes it is producing a whole new .air file and an aircraft.cfg. By the way do you know any other airbus that might be better ( i mean in terms of fde close in reall airbus ) than feelthere a320? Many, many, many thanks for your responce.
  11. Hello guys, 33 views and no reply? Please someone help.
  12. Hello guys i need some help with a problem i have. I am building the a320 cockpit and i am using the feel there a320 and the project magenta software. Everything is working fine but i have a problem with the aircraft pitch when in autopilot in cruise. In reality when in cruising with the fcu on the pitch of the aircraft is 2.5 degrees up but here i have test both pm fcu and feel there fcu and it is always about 5 degrees up when in cruise so it must be something wrong there with the .air or the aircraft.cfg file. Can someone please advise where i can fix this inside .air file or inside the aircraft.cfg? Many thanks in advance.
  13. Hello guys and thanks for your support. So if i want to change the mac of an aircraft which values i must change in the .air file and in the aircraft.cfg? Many thanks in advance.
  14. Hello guys i need some help. I have create an aircraft.cfg based on a320 pa model and i need this to convert to an .air file. Does anyone knows how i can do that or if there is any converter that can do this work for me? Many thanks in advance.
  15. Hello Scott and many thanks for your support. Can you please tell me in a short step by step guide how i can do this? Many thanks in advance.
