  1. When doing ILS approaches (that otherwise start fine, with "autoland" on and showing) on add-ons such as the PSS A320 and 777 or the Level-D 767, I often get GPWS callouts (e.g., "too low terrain") as though the plane doesn't understand that I'm in approach mode. Even worse and incredibly annoying (but likely not related to the GPWS situation), when the plane gets right above the runway, it often starts veering off course, or steeply climbing back up for no reason. And that's on approaches where the plane had otherwise been following the glideslope just fine, until the last second where the plane either touches down short of the runway, or somewhat violently climbs back up, as I said. Doesn't happen all the time, though, which is what's weird (not sure whether/what I'm doing different from one time to the next).Any thoughts on the GPWS situation? What about the botched approaches? What am I doing wrong (I assume that's what it is)? How hard can it be to just get the plane to land correctly? Thanks.[sorry for any double post, I thought I'd posted this but doesn't show.]
  2. So I'm flying EDDF-WSSS but had to leave for a few hours for real-life purposes; I believe I did a task switch over the Caspian sea or thereabouts. When I come back, several hours later, the plane's still over pretty much the same spot. Obviously, I've got "pause on task switch" turned off, therefore *something* must have took the focus over FS9. First time this happens in several years of FS, and first time on my new system (iMac with Windows 7 on Bootcamp, which, by the way, runs FS9 pretty well). What gives? It seems to me that my computer did go to sleep before when FS9 was on, and did not cause it to pause, unless I'm mistaken...
