:unsure: Does anyone know what happened to AVSIM-PARTNER Steve? (sorry, that's the only name I have found...)
This brave pioneer uploaded instructions on how to construct one's own Helicopter Flight Control System that apparently dates back to 1999 and to which he doesn't respond anymore.
The design and cost of this system was good, but sadly used an analog joystick and DB15 plug. Also in what is left of his instructions on the web there appears to be no provision for the throttle control on the collective.
I would be very grateful if someone had some follow up on this project and perhaps, more importantly, whether one can adapt a USB joystick for this purpose or alternatively some instructions for some equally reasonably priced controls...
