I also suffered the loss of some of my shiny/chrome liveries, so disabled the aircraft dynamic lighting functions in Tomato-Shade and happily use all the other features.

Is there a way of enabling the reflection features for specific aircraft [only] without knobbling all the other aircraft/liveries? Even though I only applied the Reflection Maker to one or two aircraft, enabling the option in TS appears to be a global thing. I suspect it may be unavoidable <?>.

    Adam.

Adam, I guess that you could use reflections for one or two planes, and enable the reflections in P3D options menu at same time. With aircrafts that not reflection enabled you should go for disable that option in P3D and everything goes fine.

The update number 26 is out and seems to solve every problem that I noticed with 24 and 25! Thanks for the autor TS!!

  2.

    Inspector settings:

    Antialiasing - Setting: 4xS

Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling : 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling

Vertical Sync - 1/2 Refresh Rate

(rest of the Inspector settings are as they were in the last update to my guide with the exception of the framerate limiter, which is disabled now)

I have an "old card": GTX 470 and my settings are 8xSQ and 2xSGSS. The image is amazing locked at 30fps

I setup my clouds to 512x512 in my favorite weather program, above that it seems to start stutter a lot.

AF to app controled and anisio at FSX marked on. Max pre-render frames to 1 because I have one graphic card.

Bellow is a screen of my settings:

  3. Guys I just upgrade my sistem from 4GB to 8GB.But in task manager during FSX and NGX action, it shows only about 3.5 GB of used memory. I wonder in yours sistems how much memory is allocated during FSX sections? Thanks!
Just for ask a favor of anyone: Could somebody can confirm how much memory is alocated in FSX for people with 8GB? In task manager, my PC only gets about 3.5GB in FSX and NGX at high detailed airports. Like I said I upgraded form 4 to 8 GB and seems that my FSX didnt notice that!thanks

  4. Ron,When you make fmc pre-flight at Perf Init page, you have in right side T/C Oat and ISA dev. T/C OAT means top of climb OAT temperature, if you have active sky, with flightplan loaded, just take a look of the top of climb nearest fix temperature and insert that temp to the line T/C OAT, automatically the ISA dev will change. You are done, if the ISA dev is hotter, at ND you will see the T/C point walk a bit in front of the route, the reason is a hotter air has a penalty in a/c performance.Exemple: you plan to flight at FL370 that has a normal temp. of -56°C (that is the ISA for FL370) and at active sky in the vicinitys of T/C shows -50°C. Just put -50 (dont forget the minus) in T/C OAT and ISA dev will show 6°C hotter than normal temp for FL370.

Greetings all,I've seen references to ISA DEV in this forum, and also see this on the FMC. What exactly is it, and how is it used? Is it only for pre-flight, or does it also apply during cruise and/or descent?I know it has something to do with temperature deviations, but any help here would be appreciated.(edit): I also use ActiveSky2012. How can that program be used to help in any of this? Many thanks,Ron

  5. Regarding the importance of pilots know well the airplane, its very important for many reasons and its not waste of time or brain cells. Thanks for Capt Randazzo installed new pumps free of charge for our NGX.I get an old SOP from GOL here and that is version 18 dated Jan/2007 (that could be change already or the airline has made AD terminating action installed new pumps)"AT FL 100:Fixed Landing Lts - OFFSeat Belt Sign ( if adviseble)- OFFIf the center tank fuel pump switches were OFFfor takeoff and the centertank contains more than950 kilograms, position both center tank fuelpump switches ON above 10,000 feet or after thepitch attitude has been reduced to beginacceleration to a climb speed of 250 knots orgreater.During climb or cruise, position one center tankfuel pump switch OFF when center tank fuelquantity reaches approximately 950 kilograms.Open the crossfeed valve to minimize fuelimbalance.Position the remaining center tank fuel pumpswitch OFF without delay and close the crossfeedvalve when the Master Caution and FUEL systemannunciator illuminate."

  6. Notice in his avatar he's wearing normal clothes. Getting a cockpit tour doesn't make you an expert! LOL.gif All the same, he's absolutely correct about the AD. That's my understanding. Hydro-Aire pumps only.
I think I've stated the same telling " empty ".But I dunno if the "" 5000 rules " is correct for triggering the warning or it is correct like NGX therefore when the central tank is " empty " or at 0 .Regarding the clothes, he is clearly a real pilot dressed on civilian clothes tongue.png
The post was to hear from real 737 pilots, what they do in real operations? In my last flight I leave 500kg on Center tank, and when on the ground I realize that there was 0 kg and an imbalance between T1 and T2! Great job PMDG indeed.Regarding my avatar is me in a B757F I was powerplant engineer at Variglog, but seriously considering to get my CPL in USA next year, so if you know about a good school there, send private message please Whistle.gif

  7. Just in case someone did not read carefully FCOM (as myself until couple a days ago)." The center tank fuel pumps must be OFF for takeoff if center tank fuel is less than 5,000 pounds(2,300 kilograms) with the airplane readied for initial taxi. Both center tank fuel pump switches must be selected OFF when center tank fuel quantityreaches approximately 1,000 pounds (500 kilograms) during climb and cruise or 3,000 pounds (1,400kilograms) during descent and landing. The fuel pumps must be positioned OFF at the first indicationof fuel pump low pressure. The CWT fuel quantity indication system must be operative to dispatch with CWT mission fuel.7NoteThe CONFIG indicator will annunciate when center tank fuel exceeds 1,600 pounds (800kilograms) and the center tank fuel pump switches are OFF. Do not accomplish the CONFIG nonnormalprocedure prior to or during takeoff with less than 5,000 pounds (2,300 kilograms) of centertank fuel or during descent and landing with less than 3,000 pounds (1,400 kilograms) of center tankfuel.NoteIn a low fuel situation, both center tank pumps may be selected ON and all center tank fuel maybe used.If the main tanks are not full, the zero fuel gross weight of the airplane plus the weight of centertank fuel may exceed the maximum zero fuel gross weight by up to 5,000 pounds (2,300 kilograms)for takeoff, climb and cruise and up to 3,000 pounds (1,400 kilograms) for descent and landing, provided that the effects of balance (CG) have been considered. If a center tank fuel pump fails with fuel in the center tank, accomplish the FUEL PUMP LOWPRESSURE non-normal procedure. When defueling center or main wing tanks, the Fuel Pump Low Pressure indication lights mustbe monitored and the fuel pumps positioned to OFF at the first indication of fuel pump low pressure.Defueling with passengers on board is prohibited. The limitations contained in this AD supersede any conflicting basic airplane flight manuallimitations. 8. I had a very odd situation and I dont know if it is because of ice on wings, but in CRZ level suddently the aircraft start to bank very hard to left and right, then I switch off LNAV and try HDG, it doesnt help, the bank angle was above 45° and I command AP off, and flying manually was impossible to control the aircraft, looks like a broken joystick, but it wasnt! my joy is ok and I calibrate before every flight. It is not a AP malfuction since manually was very hard to control the Aircraft too, its sounds like a flight controls issue, hidraulics or ice on wings? but in FL370 there is no ice...I guess. In flight I command systems maintenance (because I fly with failures ON, in SP2 I sugest to allow that only on the ground) and helps a little, than I turn ON wings anti-ice and I recoverd the control of the airplane after a short time. So, the ice on wings is modeled in the 737NGX? Anyone had an issue like that before?

  9. Hi Brian,You dont need to trigger the failures per 10 hours, I guess that its only to increase the chance to have a failure in all systems, or in a specific one of your choose. The 737 is very reliable and to trigger the service based failures doesnt means that you will have trouble every flight. I do have some with flight controls, very odd one, I cant flight the airplane A/P disangage, and very dificult to control level flight, that was pre SP1, a bug or a failure i dont know.Man, I´ve been in Marana last year and Tucson too, I liked Arizona!Regards

  10. Michael,Take a look in this folder ..Microsoft Flight Simulator XPMDGPMDG 737 NGXAircraftThere you can delete the clone files with final 1.Also in FSX, in the opening screen, then select PMDG 737, then click on Details and check if the registration number has a 1 in final, if it has, just correct it. I had that issue too.

  11. Hello, The MLW on 02R SBRJ is 58.200kg thats what realy matters, just plan your flight to arrive with that MLW and you will be OK. This is the SFP structural weights:Maximum Taxi Weight 70,760Maximum Takeoff Weight 70,533Maximum Landing Weight 65,317Maximum Zero Fuel Weight 61,688 Got this info from a real GOL pilot, Cmte Rafael. Thanks for him!

  12. Thanks Alex, I know. The point was I was looking for a company specific one. Namely American Airlines.
You are welcome. But the MEL and MMEL should be pretty much the same thing and for FS application its more than enough. For AA MEL itself, only if you know someone in maintenance dept.....
