So as far as I remember, our oldest 747-8i is 6 years old and the newest is 3 years old. Not sure how this can be obsolete 😄 We also do have the 747-400 which will still fly for a couple of years until its being replaced by the 777X

We do not fly to Narita anymore and Hong-Kong is currently flown by A346. Note that in my post, I was referring to flights from this September. Not flights from last year or the years before 😉 Otherwise I could have added much more flights. You could even see the 748 in Berlin and somewhere in Italy

Frankfurt - Tokio Haneda
- Johannesburg
- Rio de Janeiro
- Sao Paolo
- Buenos Aires
- Washington
- New York
- Los Angeles
- Mumbai
- Chicago
- Mexico City
- Boston
- Bangalore
- Newark
- Shanghai
- Beijing
all flights from Lufthansa. Some of them might be only temporary (or be flown by 747-400 from time to time), but I checked for all flights in September in our system.

I am working on the 747-8 and I can tell you one thing.. Its an amazing plane.. be it from the outside, from the cabin or from the cockpit view. Totally different than the -400 which I work on as well

Having the NGX, i am wondering what people expect from the NG3? Isnt the NGX already perfect as it is?

Hi,
is there a list of options that can be customized for the 747-8? I am working on that aircraft and want to get the real values from my airline. Could share these for the liveries

Even though that I think that the new livery is looking better on smaller planes.have you been at the event as well?

I have the CS L1011, but its not for P3Dv4 and it also is not PMDG level of detail. It feels very basic (also compared to their B737 and B707)

DC10, L1011, Shared Cockpit, EFB with charts and moving airport map, B747 CL, A300/A310,.. actually any jetliner with steam gauge

Of course, since the MD-11 crowd loves to use it as some sort of "proof" for some unknown reason, let me address it yet again:
The DC-6 was maybe a bad example.. What i wanted to say with this was, that there are still old aircraft being developed on (CS L1011,..)
-
YES ! Not only because there are still a lot of them flying, but also because it doesnt really matter if its old or not.. or how do you explain the DC-6 ? I dont even need anything new. Just an update so it works with P3D x64 and i would buy it
-
For me, it would be the 737. I dont fly the 747 that often and i fly the 777 even less. There is no general answer to your question in this case i guess.

As much as I like cookies, I like my job more, though
...all the same, it's nice running into you all at various events. Almost ran into serviceceiling on my last trip through.
Thats good, you will find me on both the Neo and the 748 :)

If you fly with Lufthansa one day, i would give you another extra cookie in exchange for more information :D

James,
being a developer myself, the smallest problems can lead to the biggest updates. What i want to say is, from the outside, everything looks easily fixable sometimes (especially for people without a background in software development), but sometimes fixing small things require huge changes and lots of testing.

I can see you are not a developer or have any idea what kind of work is required to do what you say :D

Btw, the 737-200 is the 737NG's grandfather and simpler to operate than a 727... Well, we all know it won't happen, but anyway.,... I agree with you that the next logical PMDG project will be a 757 or a 767...
I dont know if you have flown the 737-200, but its very similar to the 727 actually and as long as it doesnt have an FMC, it wont sell (not speaking of retrofits). PMDG never did a virtual flight engineer and I dont think they will make one.

just a short question.. do i need another login for the forum? So one for the orders, one for the forum and one for the support system?
