  1. Many thanks for your very comprehensive reply. It's a grin and bear it job I guess ! Timothy
  2. Looking for a solution to an issue I have, I have read a topic in this forum about countryside without grass. It describes my query exaclty except I am talking about the UK !I have FSX. Windows XP. DeLuxe Edition. No other added scenery except Global.Scenery 2008. SP 1 and 2. I am not prone to fiddlingwith files etc so it 'as is ' straight from the box.I purchased Flight 1 Global 2008 in 2009 and I have found it very satisfactory. Recently I have started flyingFight Simulation FSX in the UK and Ireland and I notice that the landscape is very brown in colour atall altitudes and all aircraft. I am not sure whether colouring is just the UK but the FAr East (particularily Malaya which I know personally) doesn't seem to be very green to me either.I have tried altering the Time and Seasons but they do not make any difference . Surely the UK should be very green all the year round? I have looked at my FSX Scenery Library and I notice that Global 2008 is listed as numbers 19 to 24. Should I move them up to say 2 or 3 ? Would this make a difference ? I have checked my monitor coloursettings and noted colours in other programmes, all of which appear to be OK.Everything else, such as aircraft, interiors etc in the sim ishighly satisfactory to my eye. Having read the original topic some of the later replies about moving files and .bgl's are completely over my head so any remedy has to be simple. Looking at my attached file which is Boscombe Down Wiltshire with season at February, do you think I am correct insaying this is too brown ? Would appreciate any knowledgable but simple (!) replies-thanks.
