  1. Ok Thanks! That should be why the problems are occuring.
  2. Hi.Does anyone have a guide or steps on how to edit halo.bmp? It seems that everytime I edit it, either lights do not appear or there are transparency issues. I am using Photoshop CS5. Thanks!
  3. Thanks. I'll try that. I downloaded the textures cause ImagineSim's WSSS lights are too bright and these seem to give the perfect balance between WSSS and the default airports in terms of brightness.
  4. Hi.I have downloaded fsx_lights.zip by Michael Swannick from the Avsim library and they work perfectly. However the taxiway lights seem to be too small. As you can see in the picture they're extremely tiny. In a jet they're practically invisible from the cockpit. Is there a way to increase their size by increasing the relevant image in the halo.bmp file?
  5. Hi! Does anyone know which BGLs to exclude so that I can have the Imaginesim WSSS airport working together with Samsoft's The Very Singapore X city scenery? There is a post here on the forums but I think its for FS9 as I have none of the BGLs listed there. Thanks!
  6. Thanks! I think I found the problem. I checked your ModelData examples and noticed mine had the fileoffset=0 entry inside. I just needed to remove it and everything works fine after that!
  7. Hi!I am trying to convert a FS9 scenery to FSX. I decompile the BGL, then used ModelConverterX to convert the MDL files to FSX format. Then i try to use BGLComp.exe to compile the XML and MDL files into a BGL I do this by dragging and dropping the XML over BGLComp.exe and supposedly the compiled BGL will appear in the folder with the XML, but this dosen't seem to be happening. Does anyone know why or perhaps you could list the steps to compiling a MDL and XML file to a BGL. Thanks!Edit: I tried removing the name section under the ModelData section in the XML and this seems to have allowed me to compile the BGL. But when I load up the BGL with the CONVERTED MDL in FSX, the model is not there except for a portion of the roof that is completely black in colour. None of the other BGLs that have the original UNCONVERTED FS9 MDL files are affected.
  8. Also, once I use the ModelConverter, it becomes a mdl file. How do i convert this back into a bgl? Thanks!
  9. Thanks! Do I need to do it for all bgl or only airport bgl?Sent from my 7 Mozart T8698 using Board Express
  10. Hi! Recently I downloaded a WMKK scenery and it was meant for FS2004, but apparently it works with FSX as well. However, I noticed that certain objects look a bit weird with a rectangle outline around them that looks like a mirror. The attached photos should help you understand what is happening. The objects above the jetways are the ones I am talking about. They look weird and are totally transparent meaning I can see through to the other side of the terminal building. This also happens on another FS2004 scenery but compatible with FSX. There are no other problems with the sceneries. ThanKS!
  11. Hi!I am using pmSounds and I would like to know if there is a way to make it save the settings of the sounds I enabled. For example, I disable certain sounds cause I do not want them to play when i fly, however I have to repeat this everytime I start pmSounds. Is there a way to save the settings so I do not need to keep disabling the sounds I don't want? Thanks!
