  1. Just tried mine in FS2020 and Marco was correct about recognition.  I set it up but at least on first try could not control a C-172 on takeoff.  I checked the calibration and was Ok.  While calibration sprung back to neutral normally on all axis, the C-172 flight controls did not for some reason when watching the control from an external view.   Just a first go at it, but I have been flying FS for decades and this is a first.

  2. Does anyone know if any of these have been reported to Carenado?  They are on my Pet Peeve list.

Let me know and in a couple days I will submit a ticket...thanks, Jim

    + Higher priority

    Pedestal Issues

    1.  Cockpit Voice Recorder" not labeled as such, label should be just below (aft) of the CVR Indicator and forward of the cupholder (minor detail)

Pilots Instrument Panel and Sub Panel
+1. Bus Sense Switch should be spring loaded in both directions to the center position (NORM)
+2. External Power switch doesn't seem to do much except turn on and off the white Annunciator light.  Would be nice to have External Power modelled to keep from running the battery out during Pre-flight.
+3. Both Generator Switches should be 3 position switches ON-OFF-RESET, Reset on the bottom is spring loaded to Off.
+4. Gang Bar is really not affective, it is meant to shut off Master Battery, and both Generators at the same time, as it is it just moves up and down without doing anyting.  maybe remove it?

    Center Instrument Panel
    1. No issues

Co-Pilot Instrument Panel and Sub Panel
    1. No issues

    Overhead Panel
+1. With only Left Generator on, DC Volt Meter shows voltage for both Lt and Rt Generators.  With only Right Generator on, DC Volt meter does not show voltage for Rt Generator.
+2. Cabin Light Switch should be a 3 position switch OFF-PARTIAL-FULL; Reading Lights switch is correct, but neither should be tied to the Cockpit indirect lighting.
+3. Believe the Strobe Light Switch should just be ON-OFF 2 position.  The Beacon is correct as 3 position OFF-GND-FLT
+4. Inverter switch should be a 2 position switch (currently 3 positions).  This switch allow you to check the voltage of each inverter.

    General
    1. Taxi and Landing lights not much help moving around dark airport.  Landing light beams need to point more up however you do that.  Taxi light is useless beyond 20 feet in front of the nose.  To see at all you have to have Taxi, Landing and Recog. light on during taxi which is abnormal.
    2. Would be nice to have a gear horn cutout switch.
    3. Probably nothing can be done but get Traffic Advisories when I am flying level and plane is 5000 feet overhead and climbing away from me

+Un-modelled Annunciator Lights at a minimum should be modelled

    Bubble Popup Tips Errors

    1.  On the pedestal, there is a switch titled "Gnd Cool"  the bubble says "Sw Oxygen Mask Normal".  This switch does not move when clicked, but in actuallity I do not believe it belongs there, remove switch??

  3. Unable to capture Glideslope after two attempts at KMSO (Missoula, Montana), KBZN (Bozeman, Montana) OK.

This flying level and below the GS, approach speed, on the Localizer, Pressed the APPR button, but GS didnt capture flew right through the GS

Will try again later and advise here.

    Jim

  4. You guys are on to it now.  I was reading that 21,000 aircraft altitude should be 6,500 cabin altitude.  The controller should read these numbers opposite each other, but they are way off.  Until a fix, I would recommend using Ken's chart above and setting the Cabin Altitude on the controller using the 5 PSI line to 1000' above the altitude you will be flying.

    Jim

  5. Thank you for your assistance, thoughts and prayers...

I can't explain it, but when I try to rotate either knob whether in the popup or pedestal, they just won't rotate. In fact with the popup, you move the mouse over to the side of either knob like vonmar did on the video, the mouse arrow turns to a hand, then rotating the wheel, the hand goes away while rotating the wheel, but nothing moves.

So then, again on the A/P panel popup, I move the mouse over either the HDG or ALT button, move the wheel, and the HDG bug moves like it should. just won't do it near the knob.

Then for the Course needle, I popup the EFIS indicators, move the mouse over where it says VOR 1 on the EHSI, and the Course needle will move when you turn the mouse wheel.

At least I can get them to move, just not how you are supposed to.

I was hoping installing SP1 might cure it, may have to reload everything as no one else seems to have the same problem.

Using a high end gaming machine with windows 7 and 64 bit.

    Thanks again guys, Jim

  6. vonmar,I generally load a fsx stock aircraft first, but at the location I want to fly from, then once it is loaded, load my 3rd party aircraft (Carenado or other). This is the first plane that has acted this way. Just loaded the SP1 but still the same. The only way the heading bug or course will change is by the method selected above, and BOTH popups have to be on screen to work, will not work with only the A/P control panel, the EFIS indicators must be popped up to (Shift+3 and Shift+4.Strange yeh??Ideas? Thanks much, Jim

Let me correct just a little, to move the heading bug, only the A/P has to be popped up Shift+4. At that point the bug will move using the mouse wheel over the A/P HDG or ALT buttons only. I tried this without the popup over the same buttons on the pilots panel, but did not move the but, must be popped up....bizarre. Thus far Carenado has not replied. The above for the course needle is correct, both popups must be on screen.Jim

  7. Thanks guys for the quick responses, I think I will have to call the Avionics Technician.I found that for the Course Needle, the only way I can get it to turn is Expand the EHSI/CDI indicators, then rotate the mouse wheel over the "VOR1" label. This will not work unless the indicator is expanded. No joy on the Heading Bug yet but will keep trying. Just accidently found the deal with the Course Needle, but probably not the correct way to do it.Jim

Ahh...just found a way, LOL...By moving the wheel over either the HDG, NAV, ALT, ALT SEL selector, the Heading Bug moves...bizarre

  8. Well, I've been doing this for 30 years and always seems to be something.

For some reason I can't get the Heading and Course Bugs to move, other than sync. I have tried clicking everywhere in different modes, ground and in the air. Tried clicking around the Heading Knob and Heading Select Knob plus Course Select Knob and neither moves other than they will both sync.

    Any ideas appreciated...Thanks

  9. I just loaded FS2Crew Airbus Special Edition on my Windows 7 64 bit machine (FSX). The Wilco/Feelthere software worked fine prior to this. After clicking Trust on all the popup's, FSX Stops immediatlely there after. No other clues...just stopsI have:1. Uninstalled and reinstalled FS2Crew Airbus SE...same problem2. Deleted fsx.cfg....same problem3. Rebooted several timesWilco 320 works fine after FS2Crew Airbus SE is uninstalled.Any ideas??Thanks, JimG
