  1. Hi guys, when loading the Queen into the free flight screen the aircraft skin textures are missing from the leading edge wing root to the nose. It happens no matter which 747 aircraft I load to the free flight screen... all the same. Once I load into the cockpit and select an outside view the aircraft is fine with all textures loaded. I have checked the aircraft.cfg file for the correct texture folder etc. looks ok, no sure what to do next? Check picture below https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZA5FxwevCUWklJQ3RzR3ltN1U/view?usp=sharing Regards
  2. Great news, I think it's fixed... some kind of weird config problem with the VH-OJM aircraft, I loaded the default 744 and it worked as advertised with full fuel tanks, engines running, no stab xfr message, xfeed vlv's 2 & 3 close when takeoff flaps are extended. Also the VH-OJM A/C checked out ok as well after loading the default. Thanks so much for your help with this issue. Regards
  3. Fired up the Queen again and the "FUEL STAB XFR" message pops up when there's fuel in the stab tank, if I reduce the fuel quantity so there's no fuel in the stab the message goes away, pumps on/off makes no difference. Unable to transfer fuel from the stab during long haul flight as well, landed with 24k total and 4k in the stab? Regards
  4. Thanks for the reply, I did select the STAB pumps on the ground and the Qantas vh-ojm fuel system is updated. I need to read the manual! Regards
  5. The QRH procedure is to not use the fuel in the CWT & Stab. Here's the Fuel page schematic: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZA5FxwevCUR3pGcmlrcFo2MEU/view?usp=sharing
  6. I checked the fuel configuration and everything is correct, I'll try a repair/reinstall. Regards Jeff Kittelty
  7. Sorry Kevin can't do the screenshots at the moment, I did mean the upper eicas panel it's a yellow message top right hand corner selected by pressing recal "FUEL STAB XFR" and all pumps and cross feed valves on/open.
  8. Thanks for the reply, the message remains on the upper eicas display for the entire flight? I'm unable to use stab tank fuel?
  9. Hi guys, I was setting up for a long haul Santiago-Sydney and after entering 168,000 Kg I received an eicas message "fuel stab xfr" meaning fuel will not transfer from the stab tank to the cwt. With no failures selected and fuel pumps on and all systems serviced I can't understand why I'm getting this message. I completed the flight without using the fuel in the stab tank. Regards Jeff
  10. Thanks for the reply but no joy, I have tried that before... saving the panel state does not save the gauges position. However It does work saving the flight but then i'm stuck with the same aircraft, I would have to save each separate aircraft and then move to the correct airport. Regards Jeff Kittelty
  11. Hi guys, after loading up the ngx in full Matrox triple screen resolution, undocking and positioning the gauges is always an excersize in dragging and resizing. Is there a way I can save the position and size of the gauges after setup? Regards Jeff
