  1. Thanks tgibson. Turns out that this was due to the fact that I've changed my windows desktop theme. I just switched it back to windows7 basic, and FS is working fine now! Thank goodness I didn't have to uninstall and re-install the program. Cause I was given the advice to do so. Someone thought it had something to do with automatic update for windows.
  2. For some strange reason FS2004 just stopped working in Window mode. I was able to use it for awhile without any problems. I just don't understand why all of a sudden it doesn't wanna work anymore! It only works in full screen, and I don't like it this way.Anyone else have the same issue before?
  3. There was one other thing I forgot to ask about before. Like for instance, I'm flying the airbus a320 at a cruising altitude of 20,000 feet. Full throttle. The airspeed indicator is reading just under 520 knots. I was wondering if it's possible to edit something in the .cfg file to make it so that the plane would fly a little faster at full speed? Like 600 knots or so? (at a 20,000 foot altitude that is)
  4. I've tried the first step from what Jim Robinson told me. Such as: "new folder under FS9\Aircraft, say "Boeing-Airbus Hybrid" for example. Then copy the model and texture folders from the Boeing, and the aircraft.cfg and .air file from the Airbus. Use whatever you want for panel & sound." But unfortunately everything was glitchy for the airbus plane. It looked like the boeing aircraft. Not only that, there was no texture. The plane looked plain and grey. Couldn't see the passenger windows or anything like that. Since I did make a new folder called Boeing-Airbus Hybird, should I be able to see this plane under aircraft selection after I've started fs2004?
  5. Just recently I've downloaded a Boeing 737-700 airplane. It looks like a really decent aircraft. The only problems I'm having is with the controls. Mainly steering left and right while airborne. It performs slowly. Couple other things are elevator and stopping distance when landing. So I'm wondering if it's possible to modify something in the .air file or .cfg files? What I actually wanted to do was copy and paste something from a different aircraft. I have an airbus a320 that controls really well. Like the steering and so forth. Is it possible to fix these 3 things using notepad for the .air and .cfg files? Everything I've tried so far didn't work out....
