  1. Hi first up I would check Bios has right date/time not sure about win 11 but on the login screen(win 10) bottom right power button Hold down Shift while click restart this will bring up new screen open trouble and this will give you access to command line hope this helps
  2. On an invite, I walked up the road to my local winery. Sitting opposite the vintner I asked him what characteristics he would give his latest vintage, he looked at a beautifully chilled bottle of fresh dry white then at me and said "Its a good wine just drink the bloody thing". MSFS 2020 is a good year, Cheers
  3. further to the Hosts file thing. The next time I tried to ran Google/msfs it told me it couldn't run because port (4## odd) was being used by another program, fix this issue and try again. getting a list of open ports showed that the .exe (ng****.exe) file for this add on was itself listening on this port. In my case I run the add on from a usb stick, so just removed the stick shut down and reboot. add on gone, no more probs. I would suggest u remove the add on and see what happens would remove any doubt that the add on was the problem rgds
  4. I see from another thread that u used Googlemaps in msfs. I had your same problem after using same. Go to hosts file in windows and check that there not two active entries left behind by that add on. .Delete them, save file and close Should fix prob rgrds
  5. I'm pretty sure that op is not using win10 home which does not have efs built in. Msfs above standard contains encrypted files. I suspect that the community folder somehow is marked as "system" file and automatically files added to it are encrypted. There is away to remove the encryption but a lot of times it creates more problems than it's worth. That's why I suggested using an add on linker is the best solution
  6. right click doc, properties, advanced, remove tick encryption,ok,remove read only. Do not close properties page, then you can copy/paste doc. Once you close properties it will return to read only/encrypted. A better solution is to use an add on linker, I have tried to find whereand why win 10 auto encrypts this folder without success. Hope this helps
