  1. Hi Stewart, I wasn't expecting this , but ok I am going to "climb" and "descend" the taxiways of this unusual airport. Thanks, Hans
  2. Hi, Recently I bought 3 ORBX airfields: Wangarei(NZ), PAKT Ketchican Int. Airp. and CZST Stewart Wangarei is beautiful and working fine. PAKT: 1.causes an elevation problem, runway on a hill. FTX Central makes the insertion point, Checked it in Lorby's addon manager and FTX Central everything looks fine. PAKT is in between my other ORBX airfields. Had to reinstall Pac.Fjords and uninstall PAKT+ to get rid of the problem. 2. No parking/gates available in the scenario menu of P3dv4.1. Just runways to start from. So starting locations missing. 3. To be honest I don't see what the PAKT+ offers more than the "Default" ORBX PAKT in PFJ. CZST: !. Also the parking locations are not available in the scenario menu of P3Dv4.1. Any suggestions? Hans
  3. Vic, I have to apologize because I made a silly mistake. My Carendo C206 is not the HD version compatible with P3Dv4.1 but the older version. Sorry, but the problem is solved now. thanks for your time and patience, Hans
  4. Hi Vic, Terribly sorry to bother you once more. My Carenado C206 (three versions) planes show up! But: No gauges exept the art.horizon. Sound seems to work, it is very specific. Here is how I organized my files: D:\Addon Aircraft\Carenado\Effects (Gauges, SimObjects,Sound) The xml file I created is like yours: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>Carenado</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>Carenado Addons</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Effects</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Carenado\Effects</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Gauges</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Carenado\Gauges</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>SimObjects</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Carenado\SimObjects\Airplanes</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Sound</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Carenado\Sound\SimObjects\Airplanes</Path> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> I hope you will help me oncemore. Thanks,Hans
  5. Hi vic, Thanks for the suggestions. But something went wrong the add on aircraft still does not show in P3Dv4.1 vehicle list. Here is what I did: 1.Created D\Addon Aircraft. 2. Installed Carenado DO 228 in there. 3. That created the sub.dirs: Effects,Fonts,Gauges,Simobjects, Sound. With the addon manager I created: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>Carenado Do 228</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>Airplane</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component> <Category>SimObjects</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado DO228_100</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Effects</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Effects</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Fonts</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Fonts</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Gauges</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Gauges</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Sound</Category> <Path>D:\Addon Aircraft\Sound</Path> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> But no show! What did I do wrong? Another question. Installing more addon aircraft: shouldn't I put het name of that specific aircraft after D\Addon Aircraft\C260 f.i. Otherwise the sub.dirs are overwritten. Hans
  6. Hi, Just moved to P3Dv4.1 and after installing my addon scenery in a separate folder outside the P3D root folder(with Lorby's addon manager) I tried to do the same with my addon aircraft. But the addon aircraft don't show in the P3Dv4.1 vehicle list. What did I do so far? 1. Created D:\ Addon Aircraft with the sub-dir.'s : Simobjects/airplanes; gauges;effects;sounds;fonts. Installed(auto-installers) two Carenado aircraft the C206 and the C340, both recent P3Dv4.1 ready versions in Addon Aircraft/simobjects/airplanes. 2.In C:\Prgm data\LM\P3Dv4 I added entries in the simobjects.cfg, the gauges.cfg, the sounds.cfg, Effects.cfg and Fonts.cfg pointing to D:\Addon Aircraft and the specific sub-directories. 3. With the Lorby add on manager I managed the airplanes and other folders as add-on xml data. 4. I checked in the P3D addon screen. All entries were there and enabled. But no add on aircraft in the P3D vehicle list. What did I do wrong? Hans
  7. Hi guys, With your help things worked out well the RXP/Emuteq combination is working as it should. The RXP GNS530v2 is a wonderful piece of software! Thanks a lot for the detailted instructions. Hans
  8. Hi, Surprise, surprise!! After I filled in a Flight1 support ticket I decided to give it one more try. And this time it worked out well, so I don't know what the problem was caused by, but now everything works as it should. Hans
  9. That is excactly wahat happened, I couldn't extract the software installer. So what now?
  10. Hi, This morning I buyed/downloaded the GNS530v2. the process started with a warning that the file was hardly used and a Win Defender warning about a Win32/AZDEN/ trojan. As I found out that I had already a downloaded copy(from 28/10/17) on my pc of rxpGNS2-FSIM(2.3.5) (zip 44.753.788 / 28/10/17) I continued the installing process with this exe file. The file was executed but couldnot be extracted to C/RXP due to an error 0(zero) and error 52 with the next attempt. What to do to solve this? Hans
  11. Hi Ludmar and David, Thanks a lot for the detailed info. In a couple of days I'll have time to try if I can get it working, I'll let you guys know! Hans
  12. Hi Ludmar, Thanks for the info about FSUIPC ini. I do use FSUIPC5. I suppose it shold be under [buttons] and P1 is the number the hardware As far as I know there were three steps to install/connect the RXP GNS530 and the Emuteq hardware. 1.Map the buttons on the GNS 530 to key presses in FSUIPC.ini 2. Modify RXPGNS.ini 3. Modify panel.cfg of each aircraft. This is how it was done in FSX up to know. But maybe You and GNS530V2 have other possibities. So, if possible could you tell what to do step by step. I would be very grateful if you did so. thanks , Hans
  13. Hi Ludmar, Could you send /enclose the commands you used to get it done. I am not very good at those things, so I might need some step by step guidance. Sorry for the late reply, have been away. thanks a lot, Hans
  14. Hi David, I found out that the software RXPGNS 530 and the emuteq hardware GNS530 is working fine in P3Dv4.1 but only with Win7/8. I suppose you work with Win7? And in Win 10 it triggers a number of Win 10 hotkeys. For instance the comflip button(Win+Q) opens the Windows search function. So I am wondering if there is set of FSUIPC and RXP ini settings that works in Win 10/64. Emuteq doesn't give a clue, in fact doesn't answer my emails for support Hans
  15. Hi, My situation is this: I have RXP GNS530 v1 and Emuteq GNS 530 hardware on a Win10/64 pc and I am switching from FSX to P3Dv4.1 I also have the Mindstar GNS 530 but that is a 32 bit version and up to now no 64bit version is for sale. I am willing to buy the RXP GNS 530 v2 The central question how do I get a working software(RXP GNSv2) and hardware (Emuteq GNS 530)combination? The point is Emuteq doesn't answer my emails(any more) and only has a solution that works with Win 7. In Win10 their solution/instruction set triggers a number of Windows 10 hotkeys. So I wonder if the feature of the RXP GNS 530v2 "Use Simulator GPS commands" is the solution. And if so is there a step by step description how to use it. To be honest I am a simple end user and working with offsets , keyboard shortcuts and so on is a bid over my head. If Emuteq would give some support for Win10/64 and their hardware the problem wouldn't be there anymore. My hpoes are on RXP! Hans
