  1. Unused Xinterface axises - what should I do with them?

    Well I've pretty much finished my panels for my simpit, based off the DC-3. I used the Xinterface USB joystick controller from www.flightsimelectronics.com. The website says it has 6 joystick axises but the one they sent me has 8. I've got 4 unused pot inputs though and really didn't want them to go to waste. Any ideas on what I can do with them? So far I have rudders and 3 different trim wheels. I thought maybe toe brakes? Even then that will still leave me with 3(?) unused axises. I am highly considering reproducing the DC-3 yoke as my Saitek yoke feels more like a modern GA aircraft, so I'm thinking that would use 2 axis?. I have a Saitek throttle quadrant but was thinking of reproducing the DC-3 quadrant. That would use 6 axises so I'll probably be ordering another Xinterface if I do that. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
