GREAT!!!Underneath how my panel config looks now. So if someone else would like this, you could change your panel config like i did with thnx to the people on this forum. PS ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL PANEL CONFIG IN CASE YOU WANT TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL PANEL CONFIG 2. THNX.But actually i want the default gps of fs to pop up with a certain key combination for example SHIFT+0 So just like in the default planes when you use SHIFT+ 2 (or some planes 3) that the gps unit pos up. That is what i really would like to see. But maybe that is not possible at all.THNX.GreetingsRemy
  3. Hello.I really know and i CAN FLY WITHOUT THE GPS i just personaly think it is handy for myself to see where i am flying so once again i can fly with the fmc, waypoints etc. i just find it handy to see where i am flying so that is why i really like to have a moving map. Just for info to see where i am flying and for example which country i fly over etc. etc.And i tought it was possible to let the default fs gps pop up so you can use it (just to look at where you are), but it seems not possibleTHNXRemy van de Mortel
  4. HelloIndeed i know how the fmc works, that is no problem. But i think it's handy and i like it for my information to see where i am flying in the world.I have some navigation software, but that does not support a map which follows you.So therefore my question if it would be possible to use the default gps of fs just to see where you are, i thought that it wouldn't be that difficult, but probably it is difficult to assign the gps to for example shift+0.THNX for the answers.
  5. Hello everyone. THNX for al the answers.I hope that someone could make it possible in the future to make it possible to see a moving map. For myself i find it easier if there is a moving map so i can actually see where i am flying.Maybe another question/possibility.Is it possible to use the default gps from fs in the cockpit? I don't want it to work, but just show up so i can see the moving map. Like for example when i press shift+0 that the gps pops up?? i believe that shift+0 now doesnt have any assignments correct me if i'm wrong. Is this possible??THNXthnxRemy van de MortelThe Netherlands
  6. Hello thnxs for the quick reply. But that is not the answer to my question. What i mean is if you can set the nd display so that you see the route you are flying ((same as now in map mode) and underneath that route you see the moving earth map. so you can see where you are flying on earth. just like in the regular gps from fs itself, you see a moving map in the background on the gps and you see the route of your navigation. So the question is if it is possible to show a moving map in your nd so you can see where you are flying like for example you can see if you are flying over ..... country? Hope it is now clear what i mean. It's difficult to explain in english what i exactly mean, but i hop you understand now what i mean. So i mean a moving map (from the terrain you're flying over) in the nd, just like in the default gps in fs.Thnx once again.Gr.Remy van de MortelThe Netherlands
  7. Thnx for the solution, problem solved, when i first start up the fuel planner and then fs, the problem is solved.THNX
  8. Hello everyone.I have a question about the ND. In the nd i can see my flightplan. but all around it is black. My question is if it is possible to show a map in the nd so you can see where you are flying. (Like in the default fs 737 you can use the gps and then you see the map and where you are flying. So is it possible to do this so that you see where you are flying instead of all black around you in the ND. I hope it is clear what i mean, my english isn't that good.THNXRemy
  9. Hello everyone.I'm having a problem with the fuel planner from pmdg. I have a problem with the payload. When i click the button read payload, i get the error runtime error -6- overflow. When i want to board the fuel, that is not a problem. I tried it after a landing so at the end of a trip and then the fuel planner can read the payload. So it's weird. Am i doing something wrong? I set my pmdg on the gate at the desired airport, then set the payload in the aircraft menu of fs2004 and then i start the fuelplanner and it can't read the payload. Can someone please help me with this or is there another good fuelplanner which gets the payload with a single button click (just like the pmdg should do)?THNXRemy
  10. Hello everyone i have a problem with the pmdg 737 and saving. When i save a flight with the ; button in FS2004 and later on i start that flight again, all my data from the FMC is lost and i have to put it in all again. This is with the PMDG 737. With the PMDG MD11 this does not occur and the data is still in the FMC. Is this a known problem? Cause when i like to practice f.e auto landings it is easier if i can save just before landing and then do that over and over again till it's good. Once again, i only have this problem with the pmdg 737, the pmdg MD11 works fine and the data stays in the FMC.thnx Remy van de Mortel
  11. Once again thnx for all the information. Now i have a problem with the descending cause the fmc says often that the descending pad is unachievable i have to figure out how i can get that away and that it descents properly.Another question. 12. Thnx for the answer.I have jeppview from jeppesen so all the charts are in there. So i have to look at the carts and then decide wich star to use?gr.Remy
  13. Hello here an other question from me.If i put in a runway for landing and i have to choose a star, how do i know which star to choose (i'm flying without atc for learning). And how do i know which transition to use.If i for example fly the pmdg 737 and i set the landing for eddf, i choose a runway, than a star (btw how do you know ich star is for which runway?? where can that be found) and than i can select a transition? but what exactly does the transition do? Also if i choose a star for this airport, the fp shows al lines and sends me to a waypoint, than to another point and a couple of other points, than back to the waypoint so it;s not straight in, but it makes lots of different moves before going to the runway? anyone know how and why this happens? so if i select a star, the drawn route will go for example, left, right, than left again, than back to the first point, than right again en so on to get to the runway finally.Yes i'm a newbie to flying the pmdg planes.gr.Remy
  14. Hello everyone.THNX for all the answers and i saw some very good tips.Indeed i'm new to flying with an FMC aircraft and i have a lot to learn, that's for sure. But as ussually i want it all learning too fast because i want to fly with the plane!. I will now take a step back and figure out how everything pecisely works so i can have lots off fun with planes. And i think it's a longer way, but in the end i will be able to fly and understand the fmc planes much better. 15. Hello everyone. i have a question about fs build and the pmdg MD11plane. When i make a fp (with autogenerate) it makes the plan and i can export it to pmdg that is no problem. But i was wondering why i can't fly the same way as in the tutorial.I really want to learn how to fly with the FMC and in the tutorial flight it al worked great, but with the plans build in fsbuild it doesn't work the way it was in the tutorial. Maybe you could have a look at the tutorial i mean on page 8/9 (there you see what i mean and what i want, EGLL is first in the fp and not a runway) and on page 26. as you see there is no line (saying F-PL-DISCONTINUITY)coming after everything is put in the fmc. I can't figure out why i keep getting this problem. The manual is found here: http://downloads.precisionmanuals.com/f ... _v1.10.pdfso the problem for me is that when i make a fp the first thing in the fmc's flt pl is a runway and in the tutorial it is the airport (egll) also the same with the last point in the flt pl. this is also a runway and no airport id. In the tutorial you have on the first line when you start the fp an airport id and you must than assign a sid to it. Also the same is done for the star, you have to assign a star on the last waypoint for the airport. My problem is that if for example i want to assign a star procedure to the last waypoint and i done this in the fmc there comes a line which says --F-PLN-DISCONTINUITY--. and in the tutorial this doesn't show up. Am i setting something wrong in fsbuild or what else could be the problem.I want to make the flightplans with the auto generate button in fsbuild and fly the plan like in the pmdg tutorial so i strat with an airport id and than assign the sid and at the end of the flightplan i also want a airport and not a runway (wich i now always get when making a flightplan in fsbuild.Hope someone can help me and hope you understand what i mean in my long story.or does anyone know in which program the tutorial flight is made or does anyone know a program which makes the flightplans just like in the tutorial? thnxps i have the same airac cycle in pmdg and fsbuild!!Please help.gr.RemyTHNX very very much for your help i realy appreciate it.
