  1. Hi Nico Yes got it now thanks. Ian
  2. Hi Nico Sorted problem out but not sure why it has happened. Related to my av/firewall blocking the program. Never happened before in all the time I've used your program Ian
  3. Hi Nico Yes exited PSXT and ran the C:\PSXT\instal_new_version as Administrator as outlined in red on the GUI. It looks like the the old version is deleted as the shortcut disappears from my desktop, so I'm assuming it is during the installation of the new version. Every time I've updqted in the past ih has been completely seamlees and no problem. I can't download the new version from your website-it keeps downloading 6.1.4-tried a couple of minutes ago with same result. Ian
  4. Hi Nico Trying to update from 6.1.4 to 6.2 following the instructions at the bottom of the GUI but installation keeps hanging at C:\PSXT\docs\EULA.pdf. Tried re-installing but same result. Ian
  5. Me too.All very disappointing.Until the latest update everything was working fine-now all sorts of issues-as with others, aircrft appearing from nowhere on the ground and disappearing into the distance, aircraft appearing and disappearing while taxiing or at holding point, some aircraft lining up and appearing to be stuck then disappearing, some airports with plenty of ground parked traffic but few actual movements etc etc. Such a shame given how it was.Subscription renews in March-have to seriously consider if worth renewing again unless things improve. Ian
  6. Oh well- hopefully someone will rspond to my plea! Thanks for replying. Ian
  7. Hi Nico Just wondering if the recently released Fly X/ Inibuilds Teeside Airport(EGNV) has been sent to you by anyone as a to be learned offine airport? Unfortunately I cannot access it via my to be learned offline folder as it was purchased via the Marketplace and I therefore have to use the workaround to get traffic at the airport- I know your advice is to avoid this but I own both the PC and XBox version so go to the Marketplace to avoid having to buy twice. If not could some kind soul who does own it send it to Nico to include in a future update? Ian
  8. Thanks Nicco. Part of my understanding how the whole thing hangs together. Ian
  9. Hi Nicco Just been looking in my my_thirdparty folder and noticed that a large number of the files are text documents and others are HTML documents. Is there any significance to this? Ian
  10. Hi Nico Think I understand what's happened now. When I uninstalled the earlier version I obviously removed the updated-airports file, so what i've been seeing essentially is the progran re-building the files from scratch hence little or no traffic etc etc at various airfields where once I had lots. Spent all evening re-reading the manual so hopefully have a far better grasp of how everything hangs together. Will leave the Learner on over the next few days when not actually on the sim and build up the relevant files. Thanks once again for your help and would add what a great piece of software you've created. Ian
  11. Hi Nico Yes all of the expected third party add ons appear in file and yes they have parking spaces in them. As i am seeing no parked traffic or arriving traffic could think of no other reason that this was happening. Log file attached
  12. Hi Nico Tried as you suggested but still having problems. By a process of elimination it appears as though none of my third party addon airports eg those produced by ORBX etc are being recognised for some reason despite their ICAO codes showing in the thirdparty_airports file. As you suggested, I inputted the ICAO code in the UI under Destination Airport but when I arrive at the destination there is still no parked aircraft and live traffic does not complete its approach or lands and disappears which in the past has usually meant that no gates could be identified for parking. I am just wondering whether I am misunderstanding how the program works. If working correctly should the program identify all available parking spaces etc within these airports automatically or do I need to specify each of these airports within the parameters xml? To re-iterate prior to updating everything was working perfectly although I had in that instance specified each individual airport. I attach my parameters xml and log in case it helps. Ian
  13. Thanks Nico-excellent support as usual! Ian
  14. Oh right-didn't realise-seemed to work fine in the past. Apart from that does the log look ok? Ian
  15. Hi Nico I can't recall ever setting a destination in PSXT-for example if I fly from Manchester (EGCC) to Liverpool (EGGP) I'm pretty sure in the past I set EGCC as the departure airport in the MSFS World Map menu and EGGP as the arrival airport, press Fly and let MSFS load up. When loaded and on the ground at EGCC, start up PSXT and Real Traffic and the AI would load up around me. Then take off from EGCC and fly to EGGP and on arrival there would be parked traffic at EGGP and arriving traffic would complete their approach , land and park up at an appropriate gate. It's this last bit that's not happening. Here is the log. Ian
