  1. Hello I have owned and flown the MAAM DC-3 in FS2004 for years and love it. I have always used the yoke removed VC and the IFR Panel with the Bendix Radio. The 2 files are names dcmaam10.zip and dcamaam4.zip. I have recently migrated to FSX and decided after trolling the forums (and attempting to convert my FS9 Maam myself) I decided to purchase the most recent version of the MAAM DC-3 for FSX. I'm pleased with the aircraft and have added my paint jobs etc. I have attempted the use the Yoke removal tool and found that while works in some of the models appears cloaked or semi-invisible in others (not a problem I can live with the Yoke in OY-BPB etc). I attempted to add the IFR panel modification and used the non-sperry panel. Everything appears okay aside from the 2d overhead panel. When I try to bring up the overhead panel I get an FSX fatal error that references an r4d gauge. I do not get this error on the non IFR modified overhead version. Does anyone know how to fix so I can use this panel/vc?
  2. This is an issue with magnetic declination. I won't go in to detailed explanation but there is a file in your fsx folder under MicrosoftFlightSimulatorX/Scenery/BASE/Scenery called magdec.bglIf you copy this file and create a new folder on your desktop named magdec/scenery and place the magdec.bgl in the scenery folder and then take the magdec folder you've created with the scenery folder inside of it and place it in your addon scenery folder. Activate it at the top of your library you're magnetic declination will be taken in to account after loading all other scenery/terrain etc. You will not have the wavy plane in the sky issue. She'll fly straight and true.Let me know if it works.
  3. I've trolled through the forum and found nothing covering this. When my mate and I fly our PMDG MD11's together, he sees me basically as a hovercraft and I see him the same. No gear down so the aircraft looks like it's hovering along the taxiway. Makes for crappy screenshots. Does anyone else experience this when seeing other PMDG MD11's in multiplayer and if so is there a way to fix it?
