  1. Hi everyone, We had a report of an incorrect website link, so I wanted to drop by edit the link. The website is https://sites.google.com/site/wanderingsimulation/home Hopefully this solves the problem, and on behalf of Wandering Simulations we sincerely Apologize. -Sam Bagchi Wandering Simulations
  2. Good evening All, My name is Sam Bagchi and I am part of a new startup-company called Wandering Simulations. Our company's motto is to blur the lines of realistic and simulated flight. To do this we are in the process of developing different add-ons to help in realizing this motto, while simulteanously grow the flight community. We are interested in developing both freeware and payware software for both the Laminar Research and Microsoft Franchies. Currently we have various openings available, including X-Plane Development Specialist, Environmental Software specialist, and Social Media Adminstrators to name a few. These positions and their respective requirements are listed on the company website. If anyone is interested, or know anyone that maybe interested please forward them to email us, at WanderingSimulationsImprovemen@gmail.com. You can find additional information about our companies project updates at https://sites.google.com/site/wanderingsimulation/home Sincerly, Sam Bagchi Wandering Simulations
  3. As Promised here is the link to the project status,http://www.pafs.wf/discussion/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2019I didnt want to post every update and/or bitmap on various websites, so its centralized there. If you have any questions, comments, and concerns please leave a reply or send me a pm, im all eyes!-skusememiss
  4. Hey Everyone,I want to introduce myself as an avid Flightsim enthusiast. I have been using FS9 for about 6 years, and in the time I have really explored FS9 to the fullest. Now the purpose of my post is gonna be MANY FOLD, but I promise I`ll try to keep as concise and clear as possible. "Freeware should never be a compromise, but a product of countless hours of effort and passion, that brings together a community to enjoy something that's free and exemplary for zero pretty pennies."-777beats340Last year I undertook a project to create a 2d panel from existing Airbus gauges (with all authors permissions). The panel v1 was posted on the forum (link viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1228). The panel that i use currently is V5 with approximately 22-25 panel windows in 2d, and of course the PAIRBUS VC w/ vasFMC. Now the panel is good for useability, however its not refined as you would expect to match a PA380 VC w/ vasFMC, and thus never released. As i was thinking of refining the panel, I also stumbled upon many of us from the community and also other various forums who really want a 2D panel to match the quality of the A380 VC.Now after creating the V5 panel I understand that Panel creation is no easy business. It requires countless hours of cursing, head to table contact, frustration, tears, and then pride after it works. But most importantly hours and months for one person to come up with a finished product. However, if we as a community both developers and flightsimmers come together the amount of time and the quality of the product would be much improved. This is why i am posting here today.I want to invite anyone and everyone to please consider this project for personal benefit of having a top notch Panel to match an equally top notch A380 from Pairbus, and on top of that, its ALL FREEWARE.I understand that everyone is not going to be a EXPERT CODER, but you can offer skills such as Bitmap creation and simply compilation of gauges, and a ton more stuff. So dont sell your self short, YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE!In addition to those who maybe amateur C++ or XML coders, here is an oppurtunity to stretch those finger (maybe legs) and try your hand at something that can showcase your skills to the community. Also, there are various tutorials for learning c++ and XML gauge creation. This project allows you to apply some of that into this, and learn thru experience.I will post a new thread in the Gauge Panel Section of project airbus (link will be posted shortly) to start off the project. So You can see where it stands at this present moment.Again, I present this as an oppurtunity for all. Please consider the chance to learn and experience a panel for an amazing Aircraft in Flightsim today (which is freeware) the Project Airbus A380-800. Finally as Gersham Bulkeley wrote in Will and Doom "Actions are more significant than words"Thank You for your time and eyes, skusememiss
  5. nope I am unable to edit the original post on this thread. However, the thread you have deleted, I made a test post after the original, and I was able to access the editor for only the test post.
  6. Hey everyone,I wished to edit a thread I started, But I cant. I wished to know if I can somehow edit my intital thread post. If not, can someone delete the thread I wish to start afresh if thats ok?ThanksThread Opening at a panel development projectin MSFS Aircraft and Panel Design Forum
  7. So im using a combo panel i put together myself. But the reason for this post is a problem im encountering. The PFD, ND, ECAM, Lower ECAM, FMC are from vasFMC. These are integrated into the Project Airbus A380 without VC model. They worked fine with this model type. However with the release of the Project AIrbus A380 VC model i added my 2d panel with the VC cockpit (Which uses vasFMC gauges). There lies the problem, here is the excerpt of what the problem is. it maybe unclear, so please feel free to ask for clarifications!http://forum.vas-pro...pic.php?id=1406 But yes, if that link does not work here is the excerpt Hey all, First thing foremost, Downloaded the new gauge set from the project area that Alex posted, yea still no success, fuel init B problem. But thats the reason i came here. With the release of the Project airbus a380 virtual cockpit, they offered their own gauge set or vasFMC bundled. Since i already use vasfmc for my 2d, wanted to use vasfmc with the virtual. Problem is, the idea of running duplicates of each other. Like when i turn on apu and bat in the 2d panel, i get all the screens (PFD, ND, FMC, ECAM and LECAM) However the response times are slow (which could be contributed to my pc. However if i switch from the 2d to 3d, my 3d gauges such as the PFD or the ND might not show and the ECAM and LECAM will show. If i cycle by pressing (s) between views, after maybe a good 5 times everything will show up, but as soon I cycle again, i get the same issue with some screen showing a black gauge, but the popup still works. THe black gauge issue is not biased towards the 2d panel or the 3d cockpit. SOO with that in mind, I was wondering if vasFMC has a limitation of the number of screens that it will show on any aircraft. Since I have 3 replicates of the PFD, ND, and FMC (2 in the vc 1 in the 2d panel) and 2 replicates of the ECAM and LECAM, and the system response is slow, but in addition the problem that im facing with blanking out screens.Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thxs.Im still trying to figure it out, and If i run say, two gauge sets, where one gauge set is Vas, and then the other is just some 2d panel with its own gauges the problem is fixed, where all vasfmc gauges in the virtual cockpit are responding. Just to clarify with the authors, does this mean, VasFMC is limited to two FMCs, ND, PFD, and one ECAM and LECAM? Finally, I looked up the forums for similar issueshttp://forum.avsim.n...t-and-2d-panel/ Seems like a similar situation, but unclear. Thanks Skusememiss
  8. Hey Guys, need some help lol. I`m a hobbyist, who is willing to put in the time to modify some gauges in order to make them work. As you know vasFMC 2.1 is fundamentally different animal. Its pretty much based off a new architecture, were the fsautopilot is complelty bypassed, for a complete custom airbus autopilot. Thus certain gauges like autoenvironment v1 by Mr. Becker, specifically the autoland and VNAV gauges have stopped functioning properly. My thing is can anyone help with sorting this out, cause vasFMC have declined to offer assistance as they first do not support 3rd party gauge tinkering and they just dont have the time with some issues with the new release. thanks in advance
