Yeah it's pretty disapointing, hopefully Microsoft Flight might do a little better...that is if my computer can handle it..haha...It can barely handle fsx on medium-low...that's why I went back to fs9 which runs smooth at full...I found the Flight1 Aeromax B200 Xtreme has a more accurate engine modeling and very realistic flight characteristics, I would recomend checking that one out if you haven't...All of the other systems are very realistic too, you can literally control every aspect of every system, enviromental, electrical..etc... I'll check out the Dash 8, don't know too much about those but sounds like it's worth a shot!I do have JS41 from PMDG, and it's pretty awesome, if my computer could run it smoothly :(Thanks Patrick.

I have about 70 hours in a B200 and 10 in a 1900C in real life... And on pretty much all turboprops for fs9-fsx that I have downloaded (just downloaded the PMDG 1900c for FS9) it seems the ITT and torque values are opposite of what they should be...What I'm saying is, at low altitutes you are torque limited, the engine will easily over-torque;the air is more dense, and at high altitudes you are ITT limited. These engines operate similiar to a constant speed piston with manifold pressure... You set the takeoff power, usually 3000 lbs of torque for the 1900c for each engine, and the ITT shouldn't max out... As you climb, the torque starts to drop off and you keep adding power until you reach max ITT, much like manifold pressure, you keep adding as you climb, unless in a turbocharged piston it should hold fairly constant until it's max alt.... 740 is what we operate for max ITT and cruise in the B200, not sure what we operate the 1900 at, as I'm still training, but probably around the same area. Basically what I am wondering is why none of the FSX turboprops emulate this, they are all the opposite... Such as the PMDG 1900c... You set take off torque at 3000lbs and the ITT is over redline, when it shouldn't be...(given it is possible under certain atmospheric conditions)... And as you climb torque increases (initially but eventually starts droping, but much to slow of a rate) and ITT decreases, not accurate... Are there any turboprops that accurately portray these values in real life?... or is there a way or a mod to fix this problem? And as you descend ITT will drop off, but torque will increase, so you always keep an eye on torque in descent to avoid over-torque the engines...this also isn't portrayed correctly.Also when you pull by props for climb settings, usually 1650rpm for the 1900c, torque doesn't increase, as it should... Most of the time you have to pull back torque about 100lbs before you pull back the props, because torque will increase as the props slow down and take a bigger bite of the air...Granted you probably wont over-torque since you take off with 3000lbs which is already a few hundred lbs below max torque, if you dont pull back power to adjust for this...I find it very frustrating when I spend money on payware aircraft that don't accurately portray systems (especially engines) that the real life aircraft have... I like to use FS as somewhat a training tool to keep myself fresh, as I don't get to fly in these planes very often in real life yet, but will be in the next year or so.
