  1. I get exactly the same, even without touching the CDU or any other settings, simply having the engines running loaded up on a runway and within 2minutes the tail fin and engine cowling textures turn either grey or black, the aircraft displays, panels, switches and animations/control surfaces all freeze up shortly to be followed by an Out of Memory message. Rather odd being out of memory. Admittedly I am running Windows 7 32-bit but I have spoken to many others this evening who are also running on 32-bit with no problems.
  2. This is also occurring on my system. Haven't had a successful flight yet. Not sure if it's a memory issue?
  3. Absolutely. Tbh I tried to ignore his post to avoid it overtaking my issue here! Again, I understand 64bit is highly recommended but I know of other systems running the NGX fine on 32bit...... GD
  4. Hi Modano, Yeah I agree, 64 bit is far better but as mine was an upgrade from XP 32-bit... I was somewhat limited in choice! GD
  5. Hi, I have followed through everything in the Introductory manual and advice from other threads in this forum, however am still having quite a big problem. Upon loading up the NGX, all is fine. All the systems work well as expected and the flight progresses without any problems. However, within about 5-10mins of this, the engine cowling and tail-fin textures disappear and are just grey or black, and then the digital displays inside the cockpit freeze within 1-2mins of this occurring. The plane is still "running" so to speak... the engines are still running and the plane is still flying, but no further inputs are recognised by the plane. Very shortly after this, an error message is displayed telling me my system does not have enough memory. This is occurring with the NGX at an airfield on default scenery, and clear skies weather set. My system is fairly high spec, and I have no issues with any other PMDG aircraft (747X for example). I am running an Inno3D GT 240 512MB GDDR5 DVI VGA HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card, 4GB DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10666 Gold i5 Memory Kit 1.65V CL9(9-9-9-20), Intel i5 760 2.8GHz Socket 1156 8MB L3 Processor on a Windows 7 32bit OS. I understand 64 bit is recommended however I know of others who have the NGX operating far better than me on 32 bit systems. I have reinstalled the NGX, but no change. I also have Acceleration/SP2 installed. I know it's been a busy day for all, but any help would be gratefully received. Thanks,GD
