Hey Bryan, Can I have it too?
-
I uninstalled both programs, disabled AVG, re-downloaded the program, reinstalled AXE and FS2Crew. Every time I ran it I came up with the same fault: The .GAU_unloaded doesn't exist as a file anywhere on my computer. Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: FS2CrewAirbusButton.GAU_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5243b611 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x640165d0 Faulting process id: 0x1a74 Faulting application start time: 0x01cec12cf3e8102f Faulting application path: J:\games\fsx\fsx.exe Faulting module path: FS2CrewAirbusButton.GAU Report Id: 8d180fbb-2d20-11e3-b687-842b2bbc372a

and here's the event viewer after clean installs: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: FS2CrewAirbusButton.GAU_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5243b611 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x640165d0 Faulting process id: 0x1a74 Faulting application start time: 0x01cec12cf3e8102f Faulting application path: J:\games\fsx\fsx.exe Faulting module path: FS2CrewAirbusButton.GAU Report Id: 8d180fbb-2d20-11e3-b687-842b2bbc372a

Here, according to the event viewer, is what happened: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: AB_ND_GDI.DLL, version: 1.2.0.26, time stamp: 0x52282ffc Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x001565d0 Faulting process id: 0x12f4 Faulting application start time: 0x01cec127fc9eb0b1 Faulting application path: J:\games\fsx\fsx.exe Faulting module path: J:\games\fsx\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft Airbus X Extended Base\Panel_Fallback\ND\AB_ND_GDI.DLL Report Id: b7aef8af-2d1b-11e3-9820-842b2bbc372a

Didn't help. I also ran gamebooster to kill "unnecessary" services; didn't help. I noticed that as FSX crashed, four files were created/modified: FSX.cfg, FSX.CFG.TXT, dxdiag.txt and fdr.dat. I'm going to uninstall FS2crew and then uninstall Airbus and then reinstall Airbus and then FS2crew. Maybe something got corrupted in the install. I really appreciate the time you're taking to help me - this seems like kind of a wild goose chase. (BTW, I have just about all of the other FS2Crew addon's and haven't had a lick of problems with them - i'm pretty sure it's got to be something unique to my system.) I'll let you know if I ever have any success.

according to the xml file, the programs launched are couatl, fscaptain, goflight FSX data bridge, opusFSX, and Ultimate traffic2. I changed all of the "DISABLED<FALSE>/DISABLED" lines in the xml file to "true", but it still crashed. the only other thing that's been installed is soundstream and widefs (which is disabled).

I get a "fatal error occurred" when I exit a flight, either with the esc button or the FSX dropdown menu. I uninstalled the button control and the problem went away. I reinstalled the program and it came back. I used the configurator to disable fs2crew and the problem went away. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I've been trying to get to fs-linda.com and I keep getting re-directed to http://satway.ru/club/.

It's still not showing up anywhere. FSX is allowed through my firewall and I've even turned off AV programs. IE9 is my default browser. I load the plane in windowed mode (2d panel) open up the FS2Crew bar ("V"), turn the power on, bar shows version 1.4 then goes to "Preflight Checklist." I open up Google maps on a separate monitor and there's nothing there. I clicked on the link in the other guys' posts and see the other flights. Any ideas? Chris Aurit

Thanks. The update was successfully downloaded update after reinstalling the PMDG SP1c (the righthand box says version 1.4 when I start it up) as per the readmefirst. That's when I started looking for a button/menu item for the map. Do I need to be in the air for it to activate? Chris

I must be terminally thick, but I can't seem to find any mention of how to activate the google map function. I went through the manuals and the tutorial, but came up with goose-eggs. What's the secret to getting the google map to integrate?

I saw a press release that said Wilco bought out PMDG and the next project is a re-release of Sim-City.Mick
