  1. just re-named fsx.cfg and started fsx. panel came up in VC, waited 20 seconds, tried the buttons, but no, it didn't work.tried it in the 2D panel but didn't work either. i am trying to sort out the problem via this forum as i am sure it's something silly and don't want to disturb PMDG, these guys will have enough trouble at the moment... Thanks anyway. Thorsten Moschek
  2. Sorry, but if i am a complete moron then please tell me so... in that case you are allowed to... What i have here is a relatively fresh (1 week old) installation of Windows 7 64bit ultimate, a fresh installation of FSX including SP2. I installed 737NGX and then i got my fsx.cfg file tweaked by ******* ;-) I worked through the readme text and i tried to run through the tutorial but it won't work. The problem is as follows... When i set up a free flight with one of the 737NGxs it'll load the plane, but i cannot switch any of the switches. The mouse will stay black and pressing the left mouse button will just make the window get a white surrounding line, but the switch will not move. if i use the right mousebutton a window will appear with options as closing the main window. When i start a free flight with any of the Microsoft planes this is not an issue, i can switch any buttons. I reinstalled 737NGx already, no change... I am sure it is something stupid annd then you may call me a colmplete jerk. I've had a look through other threads as well, also used the search option but could not find anything relevant. Thanks in advance,Thorsten Moscheki forgot to mention this... when i have started a free flight with a 737NGX, all the displays are dark. When i move the thrust lever on my joystick (Saitek Cyborg), the engines willl spool up and produce thrust. I can actually take off in this situation, although trying to land without any indications is sort of 'not recommended'...
