  1. Hi All, Tried searching but most topics don't seem to address what I'm looking for. Back in my earlier flightsim days, the VA I was in required pilots to perform a checkride and I, as training instructor at the time, would analyse those results with a program (VISOR or NAV). If I wanted to do this sort of thing again, what do I need to do? Mind you I'm now running FSX and this was back in FS 2004 days that I recall those utilities. I've found some downloads for VISOR but for the life of me I can't get current instructions on how to get this program (or any other) up and running to view the files output from FS Recorder. Any and all help is appreciated as my VA is thinking of introducing checkrides and this is the missing link. Thanks, Matt
  2. ... the program that some VA's use to use for checkrides? I'm pretty certain that my old VA used FSRecorder and then took the generated file and used some other program to map out the flightpath on a map and be able to see speeds, landing rates, etc. For the life of me, I can't remember what the program combination was. If anyone out there remembers, it would be greatly appreciated! -Matt
  3. I disabled FSINN in the SETTINGS -> WEATHER section, NOT with CAVOK. Would love to find a fix as with this bug, performance is terrible. -Matthew Adair
  4. So I've been having climb performance issues and I came to the forums to determine what may be wrong. It seems, as others have experienced, that outside temperature is sky-rocketing far too high. So I disabled FSINN Weather, loaded "Real World" FSX Weather, and sat back to watch what would happen. As a side-measure I put the 34A8/FLT64 debugging into FSUIPC (to show ambient temp). I find now, as I pass through 10,000ft, my TAT shows +12c, but the debug from FSUIPC shows +2c. So with FSINN weather disabled, FSX weather being used, why are temperatures so far off in the aircraft? As an FYI, I'm flying the 737NGX-800WL UPDATE: As I pass FL160, the temperature starts climbing again. at +8c and going up. Thanks,Matthew Adair
  5. I just noticed that TAT read 45+... I haven't seen this before in FSX. That would explain things a bit I believe.
  6. I don't know how to describe it. But in every mode of flight (CLB/CRZ), there is a limit imposed upon N1.. Even when it states FMC SPD, the autothrottle will not increase thrust to reach a desired speed or continue a climb. Only had this problem the last 2 flights and I have no idea what has changed with my pre-flight setup. Very frustrating.
  7. Quick question for everyone... After departing, and engaging LNAV/VNAV/CMD A, my PFD displays, in the upper left, "N1" and never changes to FMC SPD. This ultimately results in my aircraft never exceeding 26,000-28,000 ft, no matter how the FMC is programmed. What switch have I missed? Started CLDDRK... Thanks,Matt Adair
