  1. Dear Sir
I found your expert replies replies on this forum on several paining questions. As I experienced some painting problems myself, it would be great if you could help me solve my painting problems.
I am a big fan of Manfred Jahns C47 Paratrooper . But I wanted to adapt the texture a bit.

Am using Prepare3d version 4.5 on Windows 10.

I copied the C47_1-T. dds from the original texture  file of the AC into Photoshop and removed a logo on one side of the fuselage, using the copy tool. And I copied all other texture files as well leaving them untouched.
I saved the file using the NVIDIA plugin tool. I checked the “No MIP maps” and saved “Flipped Vertically”. I saved the file twice: used DXT1 and DXT5 ARGB.

The result is that one part of fuselage is completely gone and shows green whereas the original is metallic and some other optical mysteries.

Had hoped that slightly adapting one file in the texture folder would do the trick: it did not.
I have no programming knowledge and hope to do small wonders with easy adaptations.
    Hope you can help.
    Kind regards
