  1. Hello, Dudes!Where can I download FS2004 Demo version from? Can you give me exact download location?Regards,Happpy.
  2. OK I understand. Can you please tell me where to get the basics (default lesson plans) from? Can you please tell me any source to get right knowledge like any Tutorials or Book or Web Site or Animations or Videos etc......? What do you recommend?
  3. LOL. You will probably laugh at how I fly my air plane. :(1- First of all I set mouse as yoke and give full throttle, when speed reaches 120, the I raise the nose of the plane by mouse and it goes lightening fast towards sky.2- After this, I set Auto pilot and remove mouse as yoke. On autopilot, I set Flaps on 0, Speed to 150, Altitude 1200ft, click on fligt director and NAV buttons, switch to GPS from NAV. Plane itself drives it on the right route that I set at Flight Planner.3- Near Landing, Just at 3nm distance away from runway, I turn autopilot off and down the landing gear and make Mouse again as Yoke. Also make flaps 45. Then by my own mind using my own mouse, I touch down to runway. After touching down, I set Throttle to Zero and apply Brakes.I don't apply even TOD, Vref and Heading because I don't know how to apply these. Even I make my flight path very straight to the landing runway so because I don't know where and when to apply heading and also don't know the difference between Course and Heading. I don't know what's Vref and I don't apply TOD because I don't know how to use this.I don't set frequencies like COM1, COM2 and NAV1, NAV2 because I don't see any benefits of these.I don't contact ATC tower because they tell me nothing except "Runway is clear and so on..."Now what do you say, what I should do for applying all these things?Best Regards,Happpy.
  4. Another thing is that on FSX I can land well at this specification:AGL or prepare for landing Altitude (I turn off Auto Pilot and down landing gear): 1200ft above ground. Plane goes into sea at 1000ft.Speed for Landing150 Knots for me. Distance 3nm.What do you think is it right? What do you recommend to me?
  5. First of all thanks man!About landing Altitude means, on what altitude we should prepare for landing. I mean suppose I'm 3nm away from Landing Runway (this is distance), so what should be my plane's altitude at that time (when I'm away from 3nm)? 1000ft above ground? 1500ft ? or 3000ft ???? Because I want a specific Altitude or height on which I when I turn Flaps to 45 and close Autopilot, then plane itself own should come on the right place of the Runway and land perfectly. I hope you'll have understand what I'm saying. English is little bad. Sorry for this.
  6. Hello, Dudes!I usually fly CRJ-700 on FSX. I've seen many articles of landing and they only tell landing speed and flaps. Like Landing Speed should be 150 Knots and Flaps 45. But I want more to ask. What should be the Altitude? and Distance while landing? and when to make flaps 45.This is what I do.At 1200 Altitude, and 3nm away from Runway, I turn Autopilot off and then make flaps 45. So sometimes, CRJ lands well and sometimes not. So what do you recommend? 1- Landing Altitude 2- Landing Distance 3- Landing Speed 4- Landing Flaps?Regards,Happpy.
  7. Hello, Bert!I hope you'll be pretty well.I now can land a CRJ 700 easily but not with full accuracy. Can you tell me what should be the Altitude, Speed and Flaps when Airplane is 10nm Distance away from Landing Runway? and what's same for 20nm Distance. I'm still flying CRJ 700. Also at how much Distance away from Runway we should make throttle Zero?Regards,Happy.
  8. Hello, Bert!I can now land a plane easily by using Mouse as Yoke, so I think I should leave TOD. When I'll buy the full version I use frequency to land. Now after landing I press Brakes (.) and speed reduces sudden and airplane gets stop but after releasing Brakes ( I mean leaving . button), plane starts to go again and it's speed sudden reaches 100 or ahead. So how can I fully stop the plane on runway? Now when I see on GPS that distance is just 6nm away from Runway then I close Autopilot and use Mouse as Yoke and on 100FT Altitude + 150Knot Speed and land the plane. Is this right Altitude and Speed to land or I should decrease the Speed? What do you recommend?Last is that how is your job and business going? How is your family? I hope they'll be pretty fine.Regards,Happy.
  9. Bert I think you've forgotten Distance in TOD. Suppose, I'm going on a specific top height but I don't know how far away the runway is then how much descent will I set?You say: But if I start descent airplane at 10000 ft by 500ft/min then I think I should know that plane will land in 20 minutes. If plane takes 15 or 30 minutes (according to distance) then it can land before or after runway or somewhere else. What's the actual theory? I think here, I must know how far away am I from runway? Means Distance. I should know that this specific distance is remaining to reach runway and if I set TOD at specific feet/minute then my plane would easily land on the right place of runway. So what do you think about Time and Distance?Regards,
  10. Hello, Bert! You say, use throttle, elevator back pressure and trim to maintain a 500 ft/min descent rate. It's ok but when I've to do this? I mean how far away from runway I have to do this so that airplane should land on Runway on right place and time? I mean it can go over the runway or land before runway in sea too.Second, can you show me by image, how to maintain 500 ft/min descent rate? As you showed me in previous post how to switch from NAV to GPS?Thanks,
  11. Hello, Bert!Oops! problem again. I can land a plane through mouse well and I'm happy about this. Problem is that many people say that airplane should be on 1000 FT Altitude and its Speed approx. should be 100 Knots while touching runway. Now I don't know how I can sudden descend to 0 FT Altitude from 1000 FT? When I observe that Runway is in front of me and I should touch down then how can I descend from 1000 FT to 0 FT? Is there any method that gradually descend Airplane without Autopilot?Second is very related to above question that from how much distance away from Runway, I should decrease my Altitude to 1000 FT? Suppose I'm going to 2000 FT or ahead.Last is that I touch the runway very well but plane's front wheels also touch with back wheels immediately and airplane easily land and stops on Runway but I want a default procedure which is, first behind wheels get touch down and after going little ahead, front wheel also touch to the runway. So how can I do this procedure?I usually land a plane like this: When I see that runway has come near me and I can see it then I turn off Autopilot and make throttle to 0 and do nothing with flaps (means they are also 0) and switch back to NAV from GPS and then make Mouse as Yoke and then by my own approximation, by going down and going ahead and the again by down and ahead, I just touch the airplane at the runway and then put Brakes. lol I think this is not good method and you please tell me what I should do?You've learnt me a lot here. You learnt me everything about airplane like, how to go to / line up with the exact routes and reaching destination runway exactly. Thanks again for this. But please solve my final approach, touch down and well landing problem.Best Regards,Happy
  12. Hello, Bert! You have done a great job for me. You've proved yourself a good teacher here. I've fully understand the Autopilot of FSX now. No doubt I'm unable to Auto land a plane so far but this is my error which is I couldn't purchase full FSX software. I'm fully aware now that Microsoft hasn't given Frequencies and many other important functions in FSX Demo. Microsoft always do these types of mad and stupid things. They should have been given one Airport frequency. Once again I would say You have done a tremendous job for me. I'm grateful to you.Warm Regards,Happy.
  13. Hello, Bert!Problem again. All is going well except Frequency of CRJ700. Actually, every airport has greater than 117.something frequency (For example 118.something and greater than this) but CRJ700's Frequency doesn't exceeded than 117.something on NAV1 and NAV2 too (As I told you on previous that when I press the button on 117.300 then it goes back to 107.something instead of going to 118). So how can I land the airplane if frequency doesn't meet exact requirements. So tell me anything so that I would be able to autoland airplane. When I align with the route and come very near to the runway then I switch back to NAV from GPS and push the approach button and reduce the speed up to 150 knots and turn off the Altitude button. Also I don't use Heading because it leads my plane to take away from my actual route and I don't know when and where to use this. Is this a right way?
  14. Hello, My Dear Bert! Now I'm going to ask you the final questions.I'm so so crazy about airplanes. Even this is not my job or business but I love airplanes and I usually think that I cannot become pilot but I can complete my hobby on FSX. So if I become able to take-off and land a plane using autopilot only then I'll feel so so much happiness.1- I've not joy stick, it's little expansive for me. So I want an autopilot should take-off my plane. So what Altitude and Speed I should give to autopilot on start, so that I would be able to take-off the plane in a very good and smooth way. 2- After taking-off plane manually using keyboard or mouse, I feel that it doesn't follow the direction of destination airport. As you can see when we plan a route in FSX then a red line becomes between Destination and Departure Airport and I want Autopilot itself own fly my plane on that thick red line and follow that route only instead of going anywhere else. So please tell me how can I do that?3- You told me that if Runway name is 12 then its heading would be 120 and if it's 16L then what would be its heading? and when we use heading? How far away of destination runway we use heading?4- I set the standby frequency of CRJ700 but it doesn't exceed more then 117.99 etc, I mean it doesn't go to 118.something. When I click on 117 then frequency goes to107 back instead of going to 118. So can you tell me its reason? OR tell me any method to set the standby frequency in CRJ 700 using photo.5- Last question is that when we use approach, heading and frequency? I mean near Destination runway or start from Departure Runway? OR in the mid of travel?I hope you'll not mind my way of asking questions on questions. I'm grateful to you because you've helped me a lot in this forum.Best Regards,Happy.
  15. Thank you Bert for helping me a lot.I'll now study Chapter 10 of the book you have provided me.I'm trying fly Bombardier CRJ700 plane. Here at URL behind you can see its cockpit view.http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/39/crj700cockpit.png/Now I'll try more to play and if I still felt some problems, I would contact you.Best Regards,Happy.
  16. Hello, Bert!I still have problems: You can see below what I does usually:1- First I go to Flight Planner and select Departure (TKPK) and Destination (COCO) Airports: As shown in image belowhttp://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/42/flightplanner.png/2- Then I go to Find Routes: As shown in image in Red Line (Route):http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/214/routeso.png/3- Then I click Departure Airport (TKPK) Runway Facility Info: But It doesn't show the info as you showed me in your reply: It has only frequency given but not the Heading: So how can I give heading info to Autopilot?http://imageshack.us...cilityinfo.png/4- Now same I click on Destination Airport (COCO) Runway Facility: It has neither Frequency nor Heading. Can you tell me its reason?http://imageshack.us...cilityinfo.png/Please solve my problem. I'll be grateful to you. Please tell me step by step if I'm going wrong. Please remember I'm using FSX Demo Version.Regards,Happy.
  17. Thanks Bert Pieke for your answer:Another Question: I'm unable to find frequency and heading table in FSX Demo:You know (As you told me), for auto land a plane, we need to put the frequency and heading of destination runway to radio and Autopilot penal. My first question is that has Microsoft include the Airports and their Frequencies in Demo version?Second is that if included, then where? Can you tell me the way to reach at that table in FSX Demo?Third, if not included, then I request everyone to please give me that table manually so that I would be able to land a plane well. When I go to Flight planner, no table has given there. When I go to maps, no tables has been given there too. Please help me.Regards,
  18. Hello, Dudes!I'm trying to use Autopilot of Bombardier CRJ700 in FSX trial. I want to take-off and land this plane using autopilot. Now questions are below.1- First I select the departure and destination airport and get their rout. Rout shows on GPS clearly. Now how much Altitude and speed of autopilot should be set so that plane would be able to take-off well. On my observed Altitude and Speed, plane doesn't fly and its tale usually struck runway. So what these two should be?2- Second on air, I press the Approach and Heading button so that the plane would be able to go to the right rout. Sometimes, when I click on both, I find plane goes some where else. Sometime, by clicking only on approach, it gets the right direction and sometimes, clicking only heading, it gets right direction and sometimes, by clicking both, plane gets itself right route to the destination airport. So I don't know what I only have to do so that plane would be gone to the right route.3- Sometimes, plane gets right route but it goes over the destination runway instead of landing by autopilot there. So please give me some guidance to hold a plane fully by autopilot. I hope for the best answer. You can see my cockpit Autopilot view in this image.http://imageshack.us...700cockpit.png/Regards,Happy Man.
