  1. Yesterday I needed to reinstall my FSX with all my addon in it. This program helped me very much. I really could not start the install program until I used the Windows Install CleanUp.I did not uninstall the addons! I just moved some dirrectories like effects, modules, simobjects, sound, textures and sceneries... outside of FSX struction. I backuped my account FSX folders and then I made my FSX installation and then moved the folders back. Yeah it works!
  2. You're right. But I looked for Scandinavia countries and I found what I needed. Also the Poland charts are helpful for me. I am interested about site that enables to me to simple find what I need and this one enables to do it for me. Even if that is not complete list, the site they reffered to was good because I have simply found that pdfs charts.
  3. I have found it. It was really on the site I have provide (Upper menu -> Pilot Resources -: charts ):http://charts.vateud.net/It's good source of information.
  4. Since I still try to find the site, I have found this site, which looks very similar to the site I look for:http://vateud.org/in...=101&Itemid=164The menu is almost identical, it is black, same width and same color graphics (images in left menu). But in the left menu there should be many of countries of Europe organized in groups. The banner or top graphics is not so big and I think there is not banner like this. If you know some similar site referring to aeronautical charts, please let me now. This was good resource of information so I must bookmark.
  5. Recently I have found site where are many of charts from Europe countries. The files are not hosted there, but it interested me and I lost the link because I cleared cache of browser before I save the link, so the site disapeared. My idea is to ask you, if you know the site, the name I cannot recall. It has black menus on the left and black top I think. You can list the menus. Only think I remember is there was (as part of many other items) Poland and Scandinavia section with scandinavia countries (Sweden, Denmark, and so on). Can you give some links?
  6. I know the end of video is over dramatised. But some parts seems interesting to me. For example the test of engine or birdstrike test. But sure there is too little about it. I wonder why there comes fire from the engine, when the bird strikes into blades of rotor and it is comes liquidized. I thought there should be just dust from the bird. Where does the fire come from. Is there such high temperature around the space of blades? So the dust of bird came into fire?
  7. This is from real life, but interesting video. It would be another interesting factor in simulator.
  8. Sry, I thought texture resolution not mesh.
  9. Hi, I want to ask you what mesh resolution is the project? I think I will not fly it, coz it is too east and different flying rules but maybe others.I want to tell you, I found Kazakhstan http://maps.grida.no...topographic_mapis pretty area and would be worth to have such scenery including wide water surfaces and mountains. It would be sure nice experience having this in high resolution.
  10. Good news. The HAS Poloponnese archive part 1 was re-uploaded so we can now install both parts of HAS Poloponnese:-)
  11. @Luc Brusselmans:I am confused of all the stuff. I remember I was on the site to which you refer me when I was looking for the Scenery Manager X ... or what was the story... But i cannot download the FS Scenery Manager V1.7 +(Service Pack 1) (2.5MB) +The link is not working. Then there is some FSX (332 Sceneries Fix included) Fix (0.4MB) but probably this needs the basic installation.
  12. @Luc Brusselmans:I am not sure if we talk about same file. But you cannot say there is not bug when I have a bug! What system do you use? I have Windows XP SP3. You could try download the FS Scenery Manager X v 1.3 from AVSIM library and try it. You have some different file than me. Realize the file from AVSIM library IS NOT trial, it is full freeware. But if you will see that there is really a bug or if you have same system, you could send me your working version, don't you think? But I still doubt. Same system version is one factor. Local system language is second factor. Maybe the program was debugged just to work in English environment and is unusable for languages with Cyrillic alphabet.PS:I have used FS Scenery Manager for fs2004 so I know how it works. I need not read manual, but I did just check it if there are some (installation or setup) traps, but I found no traps for this program.
  13. Why we would need the "regkey"? We can run the program X version, we don't need serial number. But there is some bug obviously.
  14. HAS Poloponnese for fs2004 forumI didn't see it before, but they have a link to their forum about HAS Poloponnese for fs2004:http://www.greeksim....520ad33b0bed31613 weeks of waiting but main archive is still not re-uploaded :-/Question: Is there version for FSX?
  15. This is what I see in the Scenery Manager X v1.3
  16. OK, I test the "SceneryConfigEditor v1.1.0". There is "List" but this list is empty. When I load scenery.cfg I see some sceneries, but not all. There should be some sceneries, that I added and played.
  17. Yes for "Lionel Uzan" but no to "FS Scenery Manager". I look for "FS Scenery Manager X".I will test the program from Andrew Thorton tomorrow.
  18. Does anybody have working version of Scenery Manager for FSX? Thanks
  19. FS Scenery Manager X v1.3is bugy. None sceneries it founds.
  20. Does anybody know about Scenery manager for FSX?I heard there should be such version but I did not found working link in reference:http://forum.simflight.com/topic/44974-fs-scenery-manager-goes-fsx/
  21. What environment/weather is the best by your opinion? I've tried Flight Environment pro, Active Sky v6 (This one is really good - by my opinion - it is better then GE pro and better then Active Sky Advanced ... I did not try the newest version of AS, but ASA consumed too much resources of my PC, simply too slow. Well I thought it should be something extra). I am interested when Active Sky will finally develop more sophisticated clouds, to be dynamic, changing its shapes slowly. I did not noticed any change, if the clouds are moved by wind or something. Especially from mountains it is well observed, when you stand on a mountain and the winds are blowing fast there, so even if the sky is fair, in Active Sky clouds are fixed. Even if the wind is 5 knots, I think this is not so simple. Down it seems like winds are not blowing, but you go up, and then you see that the winds are never on one place but going around you.REX - I did not try this addon-yet but what I have seen, this is better then Active Sky, and the water textures looks perfect. I must buy it.
  22. Maybe it could be problem. I don't know how the reflection works. Maybe it would be possible to add transparent layer with effect. I know just that I don't like the default FS inland water. Inland water with reflection from addons also still far of reality. The default inland water is too light and blue.Concerning the reflection, I watched Seine river in Paris, and realized that there are still more colors of reflection. It depends on weather conditions, daytime, position and maybe from view. Why GoogleEarth's photos have no reflection? For example when sky is dark and cloudy so there is white reflection, but when there is clear sky, so there is blue reflection. In evening and night there is many orange and other colors reflection from city.
  23. I'm a man with "head in sky" (don't know correct English phrase to my language for this, but want to say "dreamer"). Today I thought again about water textures and how people sometimes make things much more difficult than it is necessary. So I thought how could we get much more realistic and high quality water textures. Still thinking about program like ADE or AFCAD. I actually don't know what program designers use when they work with vector data of water surface, but I think about that these vector data doesn't contain any information about color of the water textures. Why to use the same set of water texture for whole world? So imagine this. You would have the program like AFCAD or ADE to open your scenery. You would open aerial photo (e.g. from google) of the water surface. You put it under your scenery and place it in correct place. Then you can switch between scenery and this photo. Even make transparency could be helpful. You could switch to mode of editing water surface colors. Now, if you know eyedropper tool from Photoshop to select color. You would just take the tool, and click on some place of water on photo.E.g. For example you have mountains, darkgreen forest trees in shadow, and the water surface of dam, which has almost the same dark green color like the trees, but on some place more gray.(See attachment)So you click on the green-gray places and then on the dark green places of the water. What the program would do - it would take the information about color of this point from photography and insert it to the area of vectors. Then designers would have thousands of water surfaces tuned to hundrets of tones. So when the program would say, "here is dark green color," so it will find the dark green texture of relevant kind (river/dam/lake/bay/sea) and display it. Simple. You would just click on photo, and this information would be inserted to scenery.
  24. Uff. After many days I found my mailbox was full. And I wondered why no comfirmation emails came to my box.
  25. Does anybody have access to the forum of NL2000 ? Can you get email of admin or webmaster for me? I still don't have confirmation email and it seems that there is not possibility to contact responsible person from outside.
