Today I tested something out on my system. Thinking my system wasn't the best; I went into a flight and I loaded it.Then I went into the display option and completely turned off autogen. And something amazing happened. A level of FPS I have never seen before.I looked at my framerate and it was going up into the 90's-100's. I think I even saw it at 116 at one time. :Hypnotized:It was Sooooooo smooth. I've just about tried every tweak to the CFG file I could think of...and the autogen still creates huge problems. I'm sure this is a common problem... but why does it cause such a huge FPS loss?Is there a way to atleast halway fix it. I'm good with my autogen level at dense; but my FPS is at like 15. Anything below Dense is un-realistic.Any tweaks or anything would be great. I already have every CFG tweak there is. But maybe there is like frame rate friendly houses...

We all have addons and preferences; some prefer better aircraft, and some need custom scenery to make it right. But what do you prefer? Airplane or scenery?You can't say both, if your in doubt, just count how many scenery addons VS airplane addons you have, and there you go.If you want, tell me why, and what your favorite airplane or scenery is!I prefer airplane than scenery; as scenery kills FPS and airplane your in the entire flight.My fav airplane is the NGX by pmdg.

Ya, I'm pretty down with this computer. Seems like it can handle FSX decently (in my standards), but with aircraft like the PMDG 737NGX, in the VC, it runs like a sick fat man. Like 4.5 FPS, and half the time is studders and freezes and crashes... but in spot and Wing I get like 20fps.So, here are the specs.Intel Celeron CPU 900 @ 2.30Ghz, 2.0 GB of RAM, Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family.Windows 7x64Ya, everyone keeps saying my graphics card sucks; but then I talk to a Microsoft Support Specialist and he says there won't be much difference with a Nvidia Gefore card. ??????Is this computer a scrap? It's like 8 months old. I don't see how everyone has an $18,000 computer for FSX... is there something I'm missing? Dunno about you, but I don't have the money!Is there a cheap way to upgrade to improve...?I really don't have any idea of it's worth.. how to upgrade; better graphics card... better Ghz...Lost
