Good news i have my SIDS and STARS in the FMC now! Something weird happened after i was at cruising altitude though. I was at FL 260 flying from Dallas Intl to Phoenix Intl when the plane just started climbing rapidly. I disengaged the autopilot and pushed forward on my Joystick (Cyborg F.L.Y. 5) in order to reduce my altitude to FL 260. This did not work, it seemed like the plane was fighting me. I couldn't even get the plane to 5 degrees nose down. Even after the auto pilot was disengaged and i just left the joy stick centered it still wanted to climb. Has anybody else had this problem?

Okay i have downloaded the current AIRAC for 'All PMGD products'. Im going to test it now i will be back to let you know how it goes.

Hi Dugald,I do have both the service packs installed and i have the v2.1 update for the 747-400x installed as well. This is a screenshot of the contents of my PMDG file.

I use crossfire for my other games. I have not updated that specific database no. Is there a place you would recommend to download an updated database? And is this file located in the PMDG file location?

Yes, i have attached the screen shot to the response. As you can see i have entered OMAA as my departure airport and in the screenshot i am selecting the runway to depart from, but when i do so there are no SIDS available.

Hi Jackson,Yes im putting in the correct airports. For instance if i put in airport id OMAA for Abu Dhabi Intl for my departure airport and then select <DEP> in the FMC to select a runway there are no SIDS on the left hand side on the FMC, it just lists the runways.

Can someone please help me with this problem. I have installed the 747-400X Add-on for FSX. Everytime i start a new flight, and it comes time to select your departure runway and arrival runway, the FMC has no SIDS and STARS that popuate the screen? Am i doing something wrong with the FMC?Please help!Irwin Foxcroft
