Is dx10 in fsx good or bad and should we use it?

I put settings on more ore less low and I still have this issue, I am telling you guys, it is defiantly not something to do with the settings being to high, it is something to do with the config file but what can i do to fix it? I even did some research and found out that this issue is very common with the scenery not loading fast enough it was to be fixed by the Microsoft team before the game was pretty much abandoned :/

Ok guys I just tried most of what you said and guess what.... NO DIFFERENCE!!!The scenery still jitters when I am flying my Nimrod like i did before, I even changed the resolution to a total of 720 and still no difference. Scenery was set as you guys said a STILL NO DIFFERENCE :( :sad:Where did I put my shotgun? :/

*FACEPALM*Some of these things are so logical WHY did i not think to switch those damn labels off XDAnyways thanks for your advice all, I will give all of these a blast as soon as I can and HOPEFULLy FSX will look pretty and also run nice and smooth, then I can finally make more SQ videos with the rest of my teamCHEERS ALL

When I fly with these settings at about 6,000ft in a Nimrod I get these similar results and also I get similar results in a 747 when I land at an airport. I probably should not have had afterburners on as it over exaggerated what happens. Also the floating houses occurred when I was traveling at 210 Knots??My FPS in Fsx is usually a constant 60 fps (I just installed V sync and fps has increased :()and only drops to 30 if in a very dense area. I honestly wish I could show what I mean, I could fly more or less any jet at a slowish speed and this issue is still constant...

I have an issue with my FSX scenery, the scenery will not reload the correct tiles fast enough. If i pause the game, I can watch the scenery decide to put up scenery where and when it wants. I am running GEX Europe and Rex 2.0, I need help fast as my sim which I have spent hundreds of hours and hundereds of £'s on is now not satisfactory!Here is my set up:Here are some screen shots of the issueThe scenery is FLOATING!?!?!?!This is the main issue here, which is the scenery does not change fast enough and is still rendering when I fly over

Can someone please help, I am sick fed up of been on loads of forums getting some information that I could get my dead grandma to give and then everyone just leaves me in the dark ALONE!!!!!I have screen-shots now as well so I can show you exactly what the issue is, it is nothing to do with hardware since im getting a sold 60FPS

I will be over clocking my processor in a few months, however I have never done it before and I am therefore concerned about what may happen :/In the meantime, there must be something that I can do to get rid of this jittering in the scenery as it makes the simulation almost unplayable.

Thanks for the welcome :( My i7 is running at 2.93Ghz... It is a quad core so I doubt that increasing the clock speed will have a drastic effect on the game, as I can run crysis 1 and 2 and Bf 3 with pretty much everything on MAX and I still get good FPS...My config has never been changed as far as I know and I did run that thing that is out dated and tries and improves this and that (I cant remember what it was) and it made the sim look rubbish :/

Hi. I have had an issue on FSX with the scenery for some time, I have posted many topics on other forums until I was told to come here.I have REX and GEX Europe. This issue is that the scenery does not change over time fast enough and when I pause the game I can see the scenery constantly trying to re render fields, houses etc.I do not ever remember having this issue until I got GEX so I'am not sure if it is related to that, or may even be that I have the sliders to high on the options menu. If screen shots are wanted of my settings just asked and same as if screen shots of the scenery are needed, again just ask here please :D
