  1. Hello, My name is Brian Sullins. I am a mail man (Postal Service Letter Carrier) in the Phoenix area. I recently purchased FSX along with a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS and a set of CH Rudder Pedals. I am interested in the rotor wing aspects of FSX and do mostly VFR flight in and around Arizona. I have visited many of the rural areas of Az via 4wd and am anxious to visit them by air. After my initial flights around the area, I was sorely disappointed in the default scenery FSX has to offer. I have considered photoreal scenery for my area such as Megascenery Earth or Tile Proxy and even considered making my own via Maps2bgl, but due to the lack of autogen, space requirements on my system, and the changes Tile Proxy would have made to my setup as well as the apparent difficulty in acquiring quality maps, I have decided against them. After some research I have decided on a few additional purchases to improve my flight environment. They include:GEX:UTX:FSGlobal 2010:and either FSGenesis, XClass, or SceneryTech. (I am having a difficult choice with land class pkgs. and could use a little help as to which is best for my area.) I am also anxiously awaiting the release of an ORBX package for my area as they seem to be the cream of the crop as far as scenery goes. I am looking forward to using the massive resources of the AVSIM Forums to improve my flight experience and am happy to become a member. I'm looking forward to hearing from some of you.Sincerely,Bri.
